True crime. Real justice. "48 Hours" investigates the most intriguing crime and justice cases that touch on all areas of the human experience including greed and passion. "48 Hours," which premiered in 1988, has developed a rich history of original reporting and impact journalism that has helped exonerate wrongly convicted people, caused cold cases to be reopened and solved, and along the way changed lives.

These people never heard of manipulation before?! This kid is classic sociopath!

What a dirty POS excuse for a human being but most of all, a coward of the highest order. It will always be a depraved coward so death is the only punishment. Let me do it.

If any show should be taken off the air… Ted Talks should be one of them for letting this garbage human talk and plead his case on a nationwide platform. Shameless!! 😮

@JillianaGibbs
@

😮😮i have one question for the attendees trying to get Marsh out . If he was released would you let him stay in your home with your children animals and loved ones? If they answer anything else but hell no they are bald face liars !!

Oh, I will never take these antidepressants they will make you nuts. You will have a really had time getting off of them. I am not saying this kid isn't guilty. I am just saying antidepressants can be dangerous. I don't think he should be getting out anytime soon. Oh wow, he may get out of prison at 25 years old. Oh my goodness.

To end crime. Why i am suffering the most severe censorship of knowledge in history if i claim I know how to end crime?. My truth is atheism is a logical fallacy that assumes God is the religious idea of the creator of the creation to conclude wrongly no creator exists because a particular idea of God doesn’t exist. If religion is false doesn’t make atheism true. Did you understand?.Emergency!, share!. Thank you.

The ppl who cheered him in that ted talk are ok in their heads!??

He's been in prison for years speaking to other cons. They've schooled him

His father is pathetic.

What will it take the authorities to realise he is addicted to killing and does not deserve to be realised at all. Are the lives taken by him worthless?

Doesn't feeling empathy for others yet can feel it for himself? Why are you crying at sentencing

As a forensic psychologist myself this kid reminds me of my first boyfriend. I psychoanalyzed every person I ever dated and he exhibited a very high psychopathy score as per the Robert Hare psychopathy checklist as well. Truly chilling to see the similarities.

The "justice" system just keeps punishing the victims over and over and over again. Unreal.

@amybryant8813

Too bad there aren't tests that would show who the psychos are in utero. If there were they could be terminated before they're born and all of us would be saved from their actions.

The kid is disturbed plus raised in the FU world.

Came back just to comment... That was a MOST satisfying verdict! And kudos to that man who labeled Marsh as the literal psychopath. I think his study greatly helped deny that psychopath's appeal.

That doctor who claimed that the manipulative ps-y-cho-opath had changed. Deserved another chance in society, in fact. I think he needs to have "what" he votes to free, live with his family, in a show of good faith.

@Camden221

The desperately & wilfully naive father, in denial. Sometimes you just have to face the reality of facts.

I’m glad the friend called the police. He definitely would have done it again

In DAVIS 🤔 yeah, they absolutely should’ve been safe there! But then again isn’t it always that small town “where things like this just doesn’t happen” 😢 it’s tricky, but Davis really is one of the safest towns in California!

Years ago, when TED talks came on the scene, I was somewhat intrigued. But after watching a few episodes and hearing enough unusual claims being made, I started doing background investigations into the speakers. The last straw, after which I never watched another episode, was when some alleged researcher claimed that desertification of the planet could be reversed with massive numbers of cattle and other hoofed animals set loose in the declining areas. What I learned with a simple internet search was that the guy was basing his claim on one or two studies he did in the 1960s which had been long debunked because of his faulty study parameters. Every other scientist in the field viewed him as a joke. TED does not vet the speakers beyond their ability to tell a compelling story.

Always a YT person

@Penelope-e7b9f

He's a lying, manipulative psychopath doing what they do best: lying and trying to manipulate others. I cannot believe that a convicted killer is allowed to spew his lies on a TEDx Talk - unimaginable.

@littleflower23
@

Psychopaths know what others want to hear and those with a personality disorder cannot be cured; they are very dangerous to any community.

@Victoria_2005
@

Rehabilitated or not, if you take a life out of pure enjoyment you shouldn’t be allowed out. I don’t understand why that’s a controversial opinion.

@Issssme11333

He is a psychopath, he knew what he was doing. I hope he gets taken out in prison, rather see his obituary than more murders.
