@partythenworkThat puts code in the chat context. Other AI platforms (Claude) are keeping their code context as short term as they can make it. You finish the session, it is gone. This does two things. It protects proprietary code generated by the user and, it prevents code context from filing up chat. Generating code uses up a lot of context.

@trexmaster82I quit using ChatGPT after it classified me as 13 years old. I’m 40. I spent 3 months trying to get them to fix it and Stripe verification wouldn’t work. Their support is useless. Then they randomly shut down my account when I was using codex and wouldn’t refund me for my subscription after the reinstated it as free. I disputed it with my bank and they reversed 4 months of charges. I highly recommend disputing the charges when support proves to be incompetent.
