I lived in Cleveland in 2009 and then again in 2011 and have fond memories of the lake, the food, and the people. I really recommend checking out Cleveland Heights and Lakewood. They're both classic "streetcar suburbs" with beautiful homes and walkable downtowns. Great dining too (Tommy's and Aladdin's are solid, and I hear great things about Pier W).

Cleveland ha SO much to do. The Pizza scene is surprisingly one of the best in the nation and their love for sports is top tier.
@SofTacooCome on you know you love Steeler fans
@theolisaacs8443I was born and raised in Cleveland. I love Cleveland zoo , metro parks , rock hall of fame ( I worked there ) art museum , all the sports , tons of comedy shows , bowling , bars , shopping etc. itâs def not farm town that people seem to think it is ( who arenât from here ). Cleveland has a ton of great hospitals as well. All 4 seasons. Cleveland doesnât have that much snow. It does not have the snow like Minnesota , Buffalo or Michigan. I have no idea who some people say the snow in Cleveland is crazy ( it isnât ). There is def snow every winter but not NEAR as much as Buffalo etc. the highways are really good ( there are so many ways to get to one place and I donât normally see that and I travel a lot ). There is go cart racing , batting cages , tons of movie theaters , shopping etc. the summers are so beautiful ( not to humid for rhe most part ) and the best falls ever. Just beautiful in the fall. Housing is cheaper than other states like New York , California and Florida and even South Carolina. There are food trucks downtown. Cedar Point. So much to do when visiting Cleveland. There are some very sketchy areas in Cleveland that you will get mugged or shot. No joke . Donât ever go to East Cleveland near kinsman and Colin wood areas. Some parts of the flats real sketchy. You do have to be cautious of your surroundings. Oh ⌠one of the most interesting things is the Franklin castle. They use to give tours of it. Not sure if they still do. But â¤ď¸ Cleveland. I will also say most Ohioâs are pretty friendly ( the ones born and raised here ). Funny bc when Iâm out of state a lot of people say I seem super friendly and itâs true. Not all. But for rhe most part if you stop to ask directions etc you will notice the friendliness
@ccalexander1924One semi-hidden gem: Get off I-90 onto MLK Blvd. That road will take you through a strip park with gardens dedicated to many of the cultures that make Cleveland home, with lots of statuary and other pretty stuff in it.
@thexalonCleveland had a bad past but the one thing avout our city is we're rising drom the ashes like a Pgoenix. I don't want us to get too big though. As far as our weather, we can have 3 seasons in one day, mostly in a week but sometimes un a day. So prepare for all weather.
@Shaharalyn1977Cleveland is a gastronomical MECCA! It's like a cross between NYC and Chicago!
@AudiophileTubesI'm calling it Key-a-hoga from now on haha. Love to see you here, Wolter! I know I'm a little late finding this video, but hope you had a great time!
@keith-knittelHigh crime and few cops, even a minor traffic accident turns into a nightmare. When it comes to clevland you have to ask yourself, Do you feel lucky?
@frankl1955Woo Hoo ... my Home Town â¤đâ¤đ
@SusanHunt-w5pbeing a clevelander it makes me laugh cause its the norm... in winter expect snow.. in summer expect blazing temps.. just stay away from the east side loll all you need to know
@fokiatDon't go , moving on
@KALEKRAUTThat's dead man's curve lol, really gotta slow down for that one
@dorkultraNative Clevelander here. If you like museums, head to University Circle. Afterwards Little Italy is close by - lots of restaurants and interesting shops.
@jeffstone2585Gave a shout out to Rowley's! And did you catch the edit early on to put Guardians in wherfe the REAL team name should be?
@eastsideeddieI always liked Geauga Lake and Sea World.
@brandonhorwath6351Yeah, The Arcade is our hidden gem
@michaelg1348Cleveland and suburbs are great places to live. Culture sports outdoor activities boating and the islands an hour away. Amazing metroparks.
@EllisIsland2023DONT stop in East Cleveland
@mkocel1) Donât miss the Cleveland Orchestra which is in the top 3 orchestras in the United States. Yes thatâs right.
2) Donât miss the Theatre District which is largest theatre district in the US outside of Broadway. More people visit the theatre district than go to all the sporting events in CLE.
It's Kai-uh-how-guh
Sorry, great video, but that pronunciation hurt my soul LMAO.
Blue and yellow are kent university sorry for that but there is other universities that are blue and yellow đ
@amyhook8605Dead Man's Curve

I literally laughed right out loud at my iPhone.
OMG man, that was hilarious!!!!
9/2025: been stuck here 56 yrs. Visit, but don't move here. He was crying about the cold n snow. You can always put on more layers if it bothers you. I'm the opposite. Beware the heat and Humidity ! There are plenty of good restaurants if you're in the know. Don't rely on any top 10 list though. Schnitzel can be found here and most of it is good. Das Schnitzel Haus comes to mind. The metro parks in all counties are a real gem. I didn't hear too many" don'ts" from him. Don't go to the city of East Cleveland. Don't stick to downtown if you visit, because on weekdays there isn't much open. Venture out if you can, but do your homework first so you don't spend all your time on the road. Those who love Cle, I encourage you to get out and visit other states. Maybe you'll get a different perspective.
@Wasntme-saidiGood morning/evening I was born and raised right here in a suburb of Cleveland but the drive is 30 min to downtown. Believe us⌠we know itâs a beautiful city but the crime rate needs to start going down. Us Clevelanders have a big problem when you come here looking for trouble. WE HAVE NO PROBLEM KICKING YOU OUT!!!
@Nightcrawler__01Try to get to Edgewater Park late in the day, so you can watch the sunset.
@jimslancioAs a northeast Ohio native, i lost it when you said "Key-a-hoga" National Park. it's "Kai-a-hoga"
@ryandonahue5288I moved to Florida 5 years ago from Cleveland. If it wasnât for the weather (I hate snow), I would move back. Cleveland has so much culture and is a much more affordable place to live. And donât forget the Cleveland Metroparks. I miss that place so much. Truly a world class park system.
@donsestito7679Appreciate the glowing review and agree itâs a fantastic city, including the suburbs. But please stop repeating the ancient MOTL pejorative over and over while telling people not to call it that.
@s.kamment7794Although I have not lived there in a number of years, I was born and raised in Cleveland. In all the years I lived there, I do not ever recall Cleveland referred to as the "mistake on the lake". It was always Erie, PA that was referred to as "Dreary Erie, the mistake on the lake".
@marilynestenes2964Cedar Point Sandusky OH about an hour away so this video makes no sense for Cleveland review
