Do NOT go to this town unless you are behind a gate. People are pooping everywhere because they lock all the public bathrooms , even places you say are nice, like Beverly Hills. Even in Beverly Hills, homeless have carts and are pooping in the street. Don’t go down the alleys, people are eating from the trash cans. Do NOT go here. They have an ai data center but nobody noticed because everything is already dead. I’m from Washington state. This plane shouldn’t be on the map for tourists. Anyone trying to take pride needs to be shut up. Virtue signaling capital of the world.

@Ohno-y3dAs a Los Angeles resident, for tourists, I HIGHLY recommend taking the subway. It is a little dirty, but it takes you to all the touristy spots including Hollywood, Universal Studios, Downtown, and Santa Monica Beach. Even Griffith Park is about a 15 min walk (slight uphill). Parking in LA is EXTREMELY expensive and often limited. Also, the subways are rarely crowded so you can almost always rest by sitting down. Right now, they're building a subway route that takes you to Beverly Hills also, so that's good. The only thing is it doesn't go to Malibu, so I recommend taking to the subway to Santa Monica and then getting a rideshare to Malibu.

@JrSecretGardenNursery-jm3dwJust got back from 3 days in LA, one day at Universal and this video recommendations for the other 2. Went to all those places. Malibu was sad to see, all those homes by the ocean are gone, but that seafood place good. The Albright lobster roll was the best!!

@EchelonProductionsNice tour agenda for visiting Los Angeles in 2 days. LACMA's Wilshire Blvd, "URBAN LIGHTS" is open 24 hours. LACMA's east campus is under construction. Anticipated opening of the new galleries is in April 2026. The west campus remains open with exhibits. LACMA overlooks the La Brea Tar Pits and museum. Also, next door to LACMA is The Academy Museum at Wilshire and Fairfax. The Peterson Auto Museum is across the street from the Academy Museum. All are very walkable.
Up the street at Fairfax and Third is a much loved LA institution--The Farmers Market. It's a great place to grab something to eat and people watch. Right beside the Farmers Market is the upscale outdoor Grove Shopping center. Melrose Ave is nearby. Echo Park Lake is a nice adjunct with a visit to Downtown Los Angeles.
