@Golla_StreetGenesis dont say that we are the supreme creation of him on earth... it says that He created us on his image. He then became a creation, as Jesus. "His image" means different. We are His "children" and "creation" at the same time. We have children, but they are not our creation. We din design them.

@Hel-r8zBTW - what would be a REALLY good take on the subject, could be a movie on the government finally realizing how USEFUL the whole "alien invasion" could be and actually STAGING it for the entire world.
The purpose?
To finally UNITE the whole humanity under one rule - "to repel the invasion".
Which would explain the current "opening of the secret files" and "congressional hearings".
Now THAT would be the movie!
So - ARE we alone in the UNIVERSE ?
MAYBE not.
But for all the PRACTICAL purposes we definitely ARE.
Neither "they" can reach us, nor we - "them".
Which means - we shall LIVE LIKE THERE'S NOBODY ELSE "OUT THERE".
And let's face it - the whole "aliens" hullabaloo is simply an attempt to rationalize over things incomprehensible.
So essentially the whole ET crowd simply replaces the Ultimate Being we lived with for thousands of years - GOD - with what for them seems to be more rational, logical and "scientific".
But it's not.

@FSboy70Interesting to get this background to the movie. I have been following this stuff for decades. Not a fan of the movie. Might be my least favorite of his films. Didn’t feel connected to any of the characters. The CGI animals looked awful. The story just jumped around. Then the ending fell completely flat. I love his movies and I am fascinated by this topic but this movie was a huge disappointment for me.

@caribbeanchildI saw this movie on Thursday, it's release date. It's a fantastic movie. I was very surprised that I actually cried 3 different times watching an action filled Syfy movie. I may have to go see it again. And listen, I never go to the movies, but I had to see this one. The last movie I saw in theaters was NOPE. I sure hope this isn't the last we see in this genre and from
Mr. Spielberg. I left the theater wanting more.

@FromEcuadorWithLoveNo, previously it was not nut cases. UFO eyewitnesses were in the majority pilots, astronauts, radar operators all highly credible. I do not know why Neil and Michigan were originally dismissive and ever derisive about the topic, but clearly they’ve been allowed or instructed to change their minds. Bothersome to contemplate.

I think just about everyone on the planet has seen a UFO. I saw three of them about 65 years ago. My Dad and his brother saw a dandy one in Northern Canada on a bush road that they were driving. A huge cigar shaped object shadowed them for a long ways. One of my sons, his wife and two children saw a group of them hanging over their neighborhood.😊
@Hummmminify2 and a 1/2 Hours of my life I can never get back. Couldn't wait till it was over. A waste of time and money.
@scootnmjHmm, the movie may have struck me as more innovative 20 years ago… too many reused tropes. Good actors though
