I keep Costco's pharmacy as my local drug store. They always have at least 6 people on duty front and back so even long lines move quickly. The prices are right. They also have a fully stocked veterinary Rx for your pets and other animals. Getting seasonal flu shots is quick and easy. In general, say what you want about Costco being a huge corporation but they do check all the right boxes most of the time. When they make a mistake they are quick to make it right. I shop frequently enough so that my annual membership fee is always covered with plenty left over in my annual rebate.

If you buy gift cards at a place like this, make sure you keep the receipt and you get the ticket showing that it was activated!!!! Because my mom bought me a $200 gift card to Morton steak and then later that year for my anniversary she gave me another $200 so I went into Morton's with $400 gift cards and only $200 worth the other $200 gift card did not work!!!! my mom ended up taking back the two gift cards that didn't work and the receipt and they refunded her for the full amount!

I can confirm that diamond makes Kirkland dogfood. I worked at a Waste Management landfill until recently and I was the guy pushing the trash with heavy equipment. The load from the nearby Diamond dog food factory would always have tons of Diamond and Kirkland bags in their trash mixed together out of the same dumpster.

@claudea79Wish I'd known about the 'sale refund'. Bought an item that went on sale 2 weeks later for $20 less! Dang, thanks for these videos! Wouldn't trust the Kirkland/Diamond dog food brands though, Diamond has had recalls. Also Costco was selling recalled pet items years ago that I went to the management about.

@joachimfritz2432Appreciate your sharing! I have been a Costco member for more than a decade and didn’t know all these! One thing I would like to point out: I am a coffee drinker. Costco brand coffee does not taste good in my view, not comparable to Starbucks at all, although I am not a Starbucks fan(in store purchased Starbucks coffee tastes better than the one brewed at home).

I watched two of your videos and you didn't mention something so maybe I'm teaching you something. Costco's policy is they will never mark up any brand name item more than 14%. And Kirkland brand can only be marked up 15%.

Member card gets scanned.. by the door guards/ screeners..the Member Photo comes up on screen No Pix= No admission.
Why would you ever have to show a receipt when they have all your purchases tracked?
