The Almost Perfect Murder (True Crime Documentary) | Real Stories
Video Overview & Insights
A series of coincidences lead to the unravelling of a string of deceptions by a conman and murderer.
Everyone who took part in this documentary sounds so soft spoken. Such good English, such good phrasing and accents. I especially loved listening to the two policemen. Got to love the Brits!

I am glad that Albert Walker was stupid and naive enough to NOT remove the Rolex watch from Ron's corpse. He thought he was so smart! Arrogant jerk! Who's laughing now?

Ron Platt was determined from beyond the grave. He was getting justice for himself. Excellent, so satisfying. I am elated that Albert Walker did not get away with it.

Albert Walker is a monster. He is a liar, a thief, a conman, a murderer, an abuser. He also committed incest. All these are unforgivable acts. I hope he is still rotting in prison, somewhere in Canada.

He got his underaged daughter pregnant, he fathered her two children. That is disgusting! I wonder why this issue was not addressed in the episode at all. Was it purposefully left out?

My heart breaks for Ron Platt. He didn't deserve this betrayal. Albert Walker is pure evil, like Elaine said at the end.
@ΝατάσαΚαφετζάκηGreat documentary, with top-notch story-telling. Excellent production. What a riveting episode, what a fascinating case! Just wow! I am watching and writing from Greece. Thank you so much.
@ΝατάσαΚαφετζάκηWhen things are too good to be true, it's really too good to be true.
@lorrainebrand8476This might be the most effective Rolex ad of all time. I’m definitely not a watch guy myself - and even if I were, the Rolex design itself has never really appealed to me - nor would I ever have the money for a Rolex… BUT this true crime doc is definitely making some strong points
@lara3540i love your stories, inspired from you i also started a youtube channel, just now posting stories about Crime suspense thriller , thanks for all the inspiration and your storytelling
@Crime_Suspense_StoryCBC Uncover 🇨🇦 did a great podcast series on this murder called Sea of Lies.

@TrueCrimeAdvocateThe "almost" perfect murder... there's always that ONE detail they miss 🔍 Real Stories you guys produce absolute gold. We started a channel covering the darkest true crime from around the globe — Germany, Japan, Iran, Brazil... every country has its shadow 💀🌍 @ShadowStoriesHQ
@ShadowStoriesHQGod moves in mysterious ways.
He was never going to succeed with this murder. Not to mention the incense.
How could none of that - the tickets to Canada, the signature stamps, etc. - not seem suspicious?
@viktoriiafalileeva1502Victim's blood in his boat, connection to the murder weapon, ID theft, etc. .... wasn't sufficient enough for a murder verdict?
@winterhaydn17:04 She defined "Rubber Stamping" to a T. Gee Whiz!
@renny990Man, this is wild - the way all those little details connected to expose him is exactly why criminals always mess up somewhere.
@MrDolla94Cool episode, awesome! keep going 😎
@Alternate-Realities-2025David Davis was pretending to be married to his daughter which he had 3 children with, what a sick man!
@Nikitta-ArrahImagine the amount of people who are m*rd3red and dumped but believe to have ran away?
The people who were going through a lot trouble in life who got m*rder3d and thought to have taken their own lives? So many.
This deserves more attention from the algorithm.

@danielnganga4052waiting for more stories
@TheGrittyPathFunny how things happen isn't it? How someone thinks that they've got away with the perfect crime only to fall hard on their face.
@redmondpeters6221Us people trust very easily on talkative people, Mexicans do not we live in a corrupt nation and you have to protect your back
@IsraelPinon-f5f6uAmericans find very attractive people that it's very talkative. Mexican don't, we procedure with caution, a talkative mexican speaker is not to trust
@IsraelPinon-f5f6uMeanwhile Walkers daughter has given birth to two of her father’s children!!
@peterwallace4964R.I.P. Ronald Joseph Platt (March 22, 1945–July 20, 1996) 🕊️🕊️🕊️
@that-unapologeticWhy was this called near perfect?
@TruthWeaverStoriesI got tempted to say, "Karma never forgets an address." Then I remembered that when they do it right and and the murder is never detected, it never makes it as a documentary.
@mauriceachach3351Chilling 😎
@rajdass2039This case lives rent-free in my head. Every time I think I’ve settled on a theory, someone drops a new detail and I’m back to square one. Your editing on this one actually gave me chills at the 17:42 mark—perfect timing.
@crime-vaultTVWhen things like this happens, it makes me wonder the number of people who have gotten away with murder.
@AsianMysteryVaultThe first episode of the guy disappearing for months and just showing up, & wanting to move in, with you and your children. That is a hard pass. You are plan B, maybe C or D, cuz the other plans didn’t work. He had escaped from prison, lord have mercy, & had almost unalived another woman. psychopathic narcissist. Ladies, love yourself, cuz this shyte can get ugly.
@glamourgirl-n9bWhen 2 women are fighting over one man: The man loves every minute of that. Manipulation of the women is going on. The man is probably cheating on both. That man isn’t worth it. Let him go.
@glamourgirl-n9bCan God's Name be used in vain, or can God be mocked or conned? The Bible says " God's name cannot be used in vain." This is visible in the context of this story. This is a real true testimony that --- " nothing at all is a coincidence."
@amazingwow326This is quite revealing. Well done
@thestoryvault124-nYour videos are funny you know
@JohnSmithStoriesxHow perfect just not enough to be perfect
@MarthaAnderson-i4qWhat stands out about this case is the fact that he only got caught due to a series of unusual chance events. By chance they found that body etc. Almost like some higher force decided he belongs in jail. This case should make people aware of such cunning and very evil people. Keep your eyes open.
@RudolfSpiveyOmg, I didn’t see that coming! 😱
@ธนวันสันตติวรรณI really don't want to mention it.
@ThefadedfileThe reliable Rolex caught the criminal in the end. I'm glad that poor Ron Platt got justice. Somehow, I don't really believe that the police visited the wrong house by accident. I think that it was accidentally on purpose.
@SpinnerHamiltonReligions, sometimes instrument of evilness
