So he lives for not just winning grands prix, but for his family and other forms of motor racing. As for how thry think the Red Bull us the fastest when Mercedes are miles up the road?! After the Nurburgring 24 hours, if Max goes to sports car racing he will take a lot of fans with him. Me for one. I have never seen driving like Max in that 24 hour race. His driving at night was unlike something I have never seen in my 65 years of watching motor racing ( it is actually 79 years, I was 9 months old at the IOM Manx TT in 1947). It’s that consistent and immaculate control he had of the GT-3 Mercedes on a circuit with endless corners and heavy slower traffic. Watching him drive was a treat helped by excellent onboard cameras.
