🚨Julián Álvarez Could Leave Atlético Madrid for Just €100M? The Legal Route Explained
Video Overview & Insights
Could Julián Álvarez leave Atlético Madrid for around €100M instead of the reported €500M release clause?
Here is the Report from Miguel Galan
https://x.com/miguelgalancnfe/status/2069725871120785522?s=46&t=Wc_NdcL9hu4xNYAvkQgcbw
According to Spanish lawyer Miguel Galán, it’s possible. Spanish courts have previously reduced release clauses they considered disproportionate, most notably in the Zubiaurre case, where a €33M clause was reduced to just €3M.
If Julián were to challenge Atlético’s clause in court, a judge could potentially lower it significantly, opening the door for clubs that otherwise couldn’t afford the current amount.
Anyone who thinks barca should over 100 million is reckless. I like him as a player but for a player who wants to leave, we have leverage.
It’s a legal route, not a transfer negotiation—but one that could completely change the situation.

why would alvarez agree on a 500 mil release clause he needs to take them to court

Atletico Madrid have already complained to FIFA and hopefully Barcelona the sons of Negreira get punished.
The "Protected Period" Rule: Under Article 17 of FIFA’s Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP), negotiating with a player who is within the "protected period" of their contract (the first three years of a deal signed before the player turned 28) is a direct violation of global football law. FIFA strictly enforces these worldwide statutes, regardless of whether the clubs share a league.

Release clauses in Spain are deposited to La Liga. In Neymar’s case the clause deposit was rejected by la liga and Barcelona said “Hey PSG, come to bcn and we settle this, give us that clause money (those infamous 220M) as compensation and we forget about this. Neymar went to Paris and Bartomeu burned that money in Dembele and Coutinho. Clubs are not willing to give away release clause money, even if they’re stupid and stubborn like patetico de madrid

Laporta defined this “oh Barça you cheaters!” bullshit quite well. Madridismo sociologico

Am scared pathetical are not going to allow it... they'll cage him and turn a blind eye from there on
@vincentmanongwaWho cares about FIFA Atletico Madrid will NEVER sell Julian to Barcelona!
@bjk4196The so called small club knocked your Barcelona the sons of Negeira out of the Champions League!🤣
@bjk4196Atletico will NEVER sell Julian to Barcelona so carry on carrying!🤪
@bjk4196Aupa Atleti..!💪🏻
@bjk4196He’s worth the hassle, just not 150. I could see no more then 130
@MatthewLehr11why waste 100 million for him, when you get him free (after 4 years)😂😂😂😂😂😂
@Moon-gz3wywould alvarez do it though to me he seems to be an individual that places value on the optics on respect and he does have a path out of spain so will he walk through the pr of suing ones own club
@DeadInside-e1cIts not about Florentino Perez. Any self-respecting club would do so
@soumyaroy6070What they dont know is that FIFA cannot do anything about it because FIFA doesn't have the Jurisdiction because both Barca and Athleti are spanish clubs, FIFA can only do something to Barca only if Athletico is a club outside spain for example like Man city chelsea etc 😂
@BarcaOriginalWhat’s with the face on the thumbnail?
@user-qx5nk6qg2bWgat did clown is not tell you Barcelona hopes.. its that yes alvarez can terminate is contract.. but if he signs for Barcelona then Barcelona will be obligated to pay atletico what they are owed ... now for the fun part.. if alvarez terminate contract and barca decide not to sign him then hes fuck 😅.. he would have to pay it him self, also Barcelona do not know when the judge will rule. Is talking mildly 100m.. in reality it can be 100m to 200m+ . These no way for barca to know what it will be nor atletico..so if yu sign him and the ruling is 150m to 200m then yu will have to pay .. more then likely it will not be 100m .. so terminate is and absolute bad for all culbs including barca and definitely the player
@jquanclarke1049👍🏾
@KniiBlaq-dj7wtDidn’t Arsenal pay the full amount for Partey 8:41
@JayHoFiveA judge will never side with Alvarez in this situation. This is pure cope.
@rexreed4234Alvarez only fault is thinking athleti was like man city.
Athleti move in a way which Barca and real Madrid don't exist and at that point la Liga is worse than the Portugese league, they have a chip on their shoulders and it's sad if they want ppl to desire or want to play with them JUST BE BETTER.
Thank you for the breakdown. We love you
@marvelajayi1439he going to psg lol uncle get ur facts right
@Therealaldithis is pure delusion, either release clause or bust, atletico won't settle for anything less than 150 as we saw with real madrid. just let it go it's not happening
@eduardodelao1099As an Arsenal fan, you barca lads can talk as much as you like. Atleti do not have to do business with you. The release clause is exactly here for that reason. Just pay it and take the player. Now they will sell Alvarez to us cheap just to spite you. And im here for it lol.
@LukeJohnson-tw5boDid he comes here to talk about Ghana??
@NigelForde-v6eMiguel.. ur better than this. Comparing Julián to Ronaldo is beneath you.. didn't Messi wanna leave prior to the year he went to PSG? Plz.. as an Atleti fan, have me on for your show. We can chat and discuss all things Atleti and Barça. Cuz you don't have anyone to discuss these matters with. Also.. Barça tried this shit last year with Nico Williams.. Balls in your court!
@brentrouthierThis is the law. The Legal Mechanism: Royal Decree 1006/1985
But it's highly unlikely to happen players and buying clubs rarely take this extreme step.
to avoid the financial and legal unpredictability They always prefer negotiating a standard transfer agreement
If any Nigerian want to sign Oshimen they can go ahead and sign him, in Barcelona we want Alvarez
@Gaucho-h1gI dont think he will end up getting the move tbh. We should just try to get Oyarzabal and keep on moving
@Thuxia❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@GamingTanjim123No this legal route is no possible if it happens like that then any player can do that to any club at any time
No it is illegal
You should go through atelti to negociate or they keep the player unhappy
These are the only two options
All we have to do is just see and wait for atleti to the negotiating table
Barca should have gone for Alvarez while he was a Man City. For me Osimhen might be a better replacement for Lewy. Lewy was a goal machine, people forgot that. Alvarez, while he’s brilliant on the ball, doesn’t have an impressive goal scoring stats.
@michaela2776I dont think its good idea but Barcelona should explore this possibility with Julian to use as a lever to pressure atletico
@samyueru3380I'd rather add another €50M and go for Haaland. What's with this obsession with Álvarez? You could get Osimhen for around €80M, and even Kane would be a better option at that price. If we're going to spend big money, it should be on a truly elite No. 9.
@uyanstam6788Atletico is making Barcelona look like the villain and they are right, you are actually entertaining a judge needing to decide this. If a club don't want to sell their player, respect the clubs desires and let that player go. Alvarez is not worth 120m. If we are going to spend that kind of money, i expect haaland kind of level striker.
@pboyiyinbor6957Brother please talk about ghana 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
@RuebenAmakyeClubs can never keep players against their will. Contracts can be bought out. 500M release clause is not realistic. What's the total salary remaining on Alvarez's contract? ~80-100M. That's how much CAS would rule if Atletico actually tried to put Alvarez on the B team.
@t.yop9There trying to make Julien Alvarez look like a Villan until he eventually leaves them
@LuisGomesJrGo ahead and buy him. Next season should be fun and competitive with both of our new signings. That’s if you can afford him. I personally think that us signing 2 defensive players for 25 million combined, and you guys not getting defensive players, yet paying 80 million for a bench player who hasn’t proven anything, then wanting a potentially 150 million dollar signing is foolish. It sounds like a big mistake for you, but good luck with that. 😂 Hala Madrid!!! 🤍🏆⚪️👑
@KingAdjustFootballReal forever tries to talk players into letting their contracts go up and they sign them for free. They do this crap all the time.
@patrickschmitt5717barca was getting a better deal for david villa in the EPL, but the player wanted to go to atletico madrid . what did barca do ? let him go to atletico . atletico is literally a small club , and now they have shown up themselves as weak ,cowardly and petty. exactly what happened with isak is what will happen in this alvarez situation. they know it but for spite they will drag it out for the whole summer after he strikes and dont train and loose form. thats their plan, barca has to stick with it until the end
@curtischarles5299His not leaving for 100m man are u serious have u seen what atleti is saying
