@yeahgooodMy only concern is a lot of the slow roll shots require a level table. Bar tables are typically not level and I have found medium speed is best. I have played in some pool halls that the tables were not maintained well but that is a rarity. If you are new I would suggest practicing at a reputable pool hall so you do not develop bad habits. It has taken me a long time to break habits I developed by playing on uneven or poorly maintained tables. I found that finding a billiards store in the local area is a good source of finding locations that have tables that are well maintained and beginner friendly locations.
