Its teeth dont resemble a Great White sharks or Piranha in any way ! It's tooth structure is closer to a crocodiles. They are used for skewering and holding fish versus slicing off chunks.

Ive seen one in the..scales and the vids dont do this monster justice! My friend [the idiot trying to catch one] and myself [the idiot who said hed help and almost got his nose bitten off] and our 2 guides[the locals who were marveling at the idiocy of the 2 foreign idiots] went to catch one, we succeded and while trying get it in the boat i found myself holding a VERY angry 100lb 5+foot tigerfish who was nowhere near done fighting. after about 4 or 5 very close snaps from that very scary set of teeth came the one that took off most of my beard! i felt that said fish deserved to be free and threw his ass back in the river! My fellow idiot was irate(the locals were quite amused) and carried on about my letting the fish go. I told him he coulld jump in and get it back, but my idiocy has limits!!
