On thing to note, apparently Huda was with Ace for like five minutes. Footage shows when Huda got up, Chelly had sat down and everyone was looking away, or looked shocked.

i think the conversations to be had about plastic surgery are truly so interesting, and its so frustrating to see people not approach it with nuance and/or harassing people about it. like, im transmasc and def wanna go on t and get top surgery, i’ve got piercings and spacers, i have so much fun dyeing my hair, etc etc. im such a big fan of body mod as a way to express yourself and present the way you want to, imo its such a neutral thing and not really all that different to dressing or doing your hair a certain way. the problem i have is specifically with the beauty industry and the way most of the profits are made by pushing beauty standards and taking advantage of peoples insecurities, esp women/girls/femmes. like,, i truly wish people (the internet especially) were mature enough to stop. straight up bullying people for getting plastic surgery, shaving, wearing makeup, etc and instead focus on how genuinely slimy and predatory the industries pushing an ever-shifting standard to manufacture insecurity are

41:03 I don’t think you can compare the two. Chelly was questioning Huda because Huda was so quick to call girls messy and not “girls girl” because they simply talked to Jeremiah or picked him in a challenged WHEN THATS LITERALLY THEIR JOB (TO EXPLORE). She was questioning Huda logic because if you think those girls were messy and not “girls girls” for what they did early on in the challenges/game .. what does that make you when you’re doing all this with chellys partner and by “all this” I mean her and ace literally moaning and doing the most.. everyone agreed that she did to much so it’s not comparable to her doubling back on Chris .. She was dancing on ace face and they both were literally moaning. (Mind you his heart rate was already up, She didn’t have to go for longer. )I don’t know about you but every time I watch that scene I get uncomfortable. And I understand that Hudas logic has been twisted by Chelly telling her to understand that it’s just a challenge, but that’s where my point comes in : Huda lacks consideration and self awareness .. she could understand how something could hurt her and she wouldn’t like it done to her, but then she does the same thing but more worst. Like that time where she called olanrida rude in the second episode for literally nothing but then she does the same thing to Iris when Jeremiah picked her (and THAT was actually rude of her to say those things. If she thinks what Olandria said was rude).. another situation , when she called Iris and Amya messy for simply doing their job but then in front of Hannah‘s face, she whispers to Pepe to pull him for a chat and she knows what she did was weird but didnt decide to go about it differently. Which in turn really hurted Hannah’s feelings. She could understand it’s just a challenge without doing the most and understanding that now it’s not really early days anymore and people take it more seriously than when it was early days. That’s the whole point Chelly was only telling her it was a challenge because it was early days. I bet if it was more down the line and someone did too much with Jeremiah , she would definitely understand why Huda was mad.

@PrincessofConeyIsland35:19 the trans people getting surgery vs cis people getting surgery debate is honestly so easy to dismount. Like "im against cis women getting surgery because i hate that society has made them think that they are not valid naturally and i hate that they are contributing and practically advertising these dangerous and unnecesary procedures encouraging more women to get plastic surgery" which is something I stand for. However, being trans is not something that you are because of society. You can't help being trans, you just are, and society has nothing to do with that except imposing gender norms. Having gender dysphoria is very different from having self-image issues as a cis person. Whereas you can learn to love your body and learn how not to let the patriarchal and misogynistic society's image of women take a toll on you and make you believe that you need plastic surgery to get "fixed" surrounding their idea of how women should look like, a trans person can't learn to love their body if they suffer from gender dysphoria. No ammount of therapy can make a dysphoric person "comfortable" in their body, it is not society's fault that trans people feel the way they do about their gender assigned at birth, they just are. And that's why im 100% supportive of trans people getting gender-affirming surgery to combat their gender dysphoria as opposed to cisgender women getting plastic surgeries because of the ideas that the patriarchy has been implanting into their minds for centuries.
@ClaireDlune-l4mHow r there so many hot ppl and there is no same sex drama???
@VSV24I watched season 6 after rewatching season 7 entirely bc I hadn’t watched the first half of it so I didn’t know any of the stuff from the beginning…. But then I watched it and was like “wth is going on??!” But it was an interesting experience to say the least
@literally.leighaaI’m a fan of you but some of your opinions in here are mad weird. You also seemed to brush over a couple of major events a things that happened they would put more context on some people’s reactions an how they went about things. I watched love island for years and I watched this seasons from start to finish while reading a lot of the online discussions. And while some of your opinions are valid you seem to have blatant favoritism to certain people and let what you thought the public thought at the time influenced a lot of your opinions. It’s feels like you didn’t fully so enough research for this. And lot of what you say could sway people into thinking a situation is something that it’s not.
@inthemakingt9436This is one of my favorite of your videos cuz it’s so convoluted and long it’s a good conscious watch and a fantastic listen to lull me to sleep and I swear I mean this as an incredible compliment it’s such a comfort listen: calm, relaxing, and doesn’t make me feel like the darkness is all consuming. 10000/10 so glad you made this summary specifically
@AdriWG5124i love this title btw
@kayleegrant2485Girl you just keep changing your mind based on opinions of others
@vinizhimomii21:15 people are SO gross. like these are REAL people. i hate when people see them as “wattpad” characters it’s so dehumanizing
@viceroy_musings15:00 exactly. i think it’s troubling with people on twitter and tiktok are obsessed with smearing women of color over an edited show but not the bigoted men on that show says a lot.
@viceroy_musingsI genuinely wish EVERYBODY would stop saying any variation of slurs like the n word. It gives kids the wrong idea, and vocabulary is easily absorbed. Reclaiming a slur shouldn’t be a thing.
@mariguanaiguanas for shampoo c for conitoner. so cool
@SarcasticSeanI watched the first 8-ish episodes of this show while getting my hair done and never finished it because it was wild and it made me very uncomfortable.
I still do think it's crazy for a couple to act married after knowing each other for a week 😭😭😭
Let me just say I hate Austin like you had the nerve to send nudes to people who don’t want them like sending the news to every single girl in your high school. Absolutely disturbing disturbing and that he’s a Trump supporter even worse, even worse.
@babsmorafa2087here in October side-eying the hell outta the Nicolandria judgmental portion of this especially after hearing her say that she liked Amaya and Bryan together. Everyone could tell that Bryan wasn't all that into Amaya and wanting solely Amaya to win was indicative of people not understanding how this show was supposed to work including the person who uploaded this video
@suprsparxi love you for this.
@heyitschristinetombYou cant compare trans-surgery to plastic surgery 💀
@alois32started this video only knowing huda is a mamacita and left knowing everything.
@ZzioletI don't watch this show and yet I am compelled to make spreadsheets about it
@hockeygrrlmuse😮😮😮I swear this sound's more like The Roman gladiator arena without The Sword fights/javelin thrust/& charioteer's slicing fighters in half nothing but human bodies in the battle!
@jaggg.3821I always thought it was weird that people get their names tattooed on themselves. I remember asking my friend rhetorically why guys (mostly) do that. She said, “just in case they forget.” I will never forget that moment. 😂😂
@scarletpaigeeeHaving this in the background at work right now lol
@nathan4deconI don’t watch stuff like this cause it’s toxic for my mind but I keep seeing ppl talking about them and ik nothing if this drama so here I am cause I’m not gonna watch it but I will watch this :)
@GethelprnTLDR: The world is not responsible for your mental health, you are.
34:00 referring to your tangent about plastic surgery, i think we need to stop blaming the world for how we feel about our selves. First off there is so much media out there you have 100% control over what you interact with. If your particular algorithm is feeding you trash that makes you feel bad about your body perhaps try purging social media from your life until you’ve talked to an appropriate mental health specialist. Perhaps take time to figure out who you are instead of emulating who you see. When you truly know who you are, you really stop giving a F*** what people think about you. People who love painting will paint for their entire lives no matter what people think of the quality of their work. People who love writing will write stories for their entire life even if they never sell a single book. You’ll never find the ideal version of yourself on tv or on your phone and as long as you keep trying to you’ll never be happy with yourself. You’ll always be chasing a finish line that just keeps moving. Cosmetic surgery is a broad term (tattoos technically can fall under the definition of cosmetic surgery) cosmetic surgery just like most things is not harmful to yourself or the world when done so responsibly. The issue with irresponsible cosmetic surgery is people getting the surgery for the world, or for acceptance or for others rather than getting it because it is the right choice for them. Only that individual can determine that and they can only do so through honest introspection.
Thank you for this video you did a great job of breaking down the show and social media, I’ve been watching on YT shorts, and I genuinely feel like no one from the final five cast is likable, other than Olandria and Chris. Nic is the shadiest person but no one talks about it. Ace is so beyond full of himself, I do think Amaya is a bit much, I like Chelley except for her connection to Ace, and then there’s Huda…I can’t stand her, she’s unbearable to watch even in YT shorts, a complete hypocrite, and if a man did half of what she did he probably would have been kicked off. And that’s just on the show, her behavior on the Reunion made her unredeemable when Chelley and Olandria asked her to make a post to tell her followers to stop being racist and she said she “was busy dealing with her own shit”, when we all know a post like that just takes max 2 minutes. Also she licked Ace’s dick in the heart rate challenge, which they cut out but aired unedited at the reunion, like I don’t understand the fans who defend her
@MichelleSassouniHoffmanThis video was made for me because I just wanna know what all the hullabaloo is all about without losing time and brain cells! 😂😂😂
@corlethat"Asian Racism" 😭✋🏿
@TKITBTory lay-nez 😂😂😂
@Yourmom8149agreed to go to a love island reunion watch party tonight…so i gotta prep 😅
@DivinesDreamty! i'm watching this at work xx
@sofi316You just got a sub from me!!!! lol i love it
@sbrown8622Ugh the scottish comedian narrator was unbearable
@bunnypantsssThe thing that always strikes me as odd in these "love on the beach, everyone's sleeping around and cheating and is always half naked" shows is they constantly try to sell us the narrative that these are the hottest people on earth and 9/10 times it feels like a stretch. Don't get me wrong, they're all nice to look at I guess, but the men in particular tend to skew overwhelmingly into the territory of "the only reason you're here is cause you have muscles, if you didn't you wouldn't be here." Again, no shade, just an observation. I also find that the girls who have visibly had work done are less attractive than the ones who are "natural" but that might just be a me thing
@RammerHammerI…I don’t know how far in I was (near the end I think…), but my vid restarted 🫠🫠
Lmao great vid tho!!!
Is it racist to say some Asians eat cats?
@LavaLot-zi5usI do not think the cast got enough hate online!
@ca8427ehhh the baby challenge is love island tradition, it wasn’t specially crafted for huda to crash out, they’re baby dolls and she’s a grown woman 1:03:03
@smile-iv1ir34:31 rewatching this, and the distinction with trans people (at least in my experience as a trans person) is that the discomfort we feel does not come from a beauty standard, but rather an inherent sense on wrongness within the body we occupy. Makeup at the end of the day can be washed off, and hair grows back, but to my knowledge most cosmetic surgeries take lots of time and money to be reversed. People are allowed to do whatever they want to their bodies, but I do understand your discomfort.
@Mint_and_flufflove this video as i do all ur videos queen! ur segment about people with surgery being marketed as ideal beauty and others witnessing feeling compelled to replicate, makes me think of those horrors movies with a pass-it-on element (ex. smile), and that it would be cool for one to be based on this topic to illustrate the emotional pain of living with these beauty standards
@pharangaeljawOh my goodness. I am employed and I do want to know what’s going on !
@maet6500Why are you showing huda sm grace then u have to mention that u dislike certain things abt chelley and olandria…
@jamila1740
