@BBAERSTANCE1Twenty horse field in the Derby is nuts. I always thought its too many horses. Too much can go wrong and ruin a true contenders chances. It should be cut in half. That being said, Sandman appears to have something left going down the stretch compared to the other horses. But if things get clogged up and Sandman is stuck behind other horses it won't matter.
@dancasey9660Has anyone noticed that the winners have been mostly coming from the clouds or at least from well back? Hardly any wire to wire wins. This has got to be on the minds of most horsemen and handicappers alike.
