ChatGPT is notoriously bad at song lyrics if asked directly. Here is a few prompt engineering tips to make it write somewhat decent songs with the help of a few tips. The key is to make the AI design the lyrics backwards: first associate, and then rhyme in reversed order. Your job is to handpick ideas and collect them together (or ask the AI to do both if you with). WIth proper chatgpt prompt engineering you can push it to where it can actually write usable lyrics.

@peterkosmas9518If you don't write your own lyrics and you don't have any other significant input such as singing or playng instruments, then you will probably never be able to claim copyright on what you produce. Have a crack at writing your own lyrics, it really isn't that difficult.

@Sputz3I haven't come up with that idea yet, I just always specify that the song should be written without a rhyme scheme. Your result is of course better.
@AlonsoFan2023Great video. Ive also found you can tell it to be more poetic or write in the style of bob dylan or whoever and it sometimes helps.. but yes i agree, the over use of "neon" or "whispering tales" is the terrible default state the get away from...
@jasonfnorthShouldn't you have used Claude? Right now, the free version beats the best (paid) ChatGPT version. I haven't tried it yet, but I hear that Claude (sonnet) is much better overall with creative writing stuff. A while back, I asked ChatGPT for song title ideas for a number of themes, and it was soooooo bad.

@PKTarotJournalInteresting topic and good tips. Unfortunately, I had to stop watching the video after a couple of minutes because your ovelay jumping from the left side of the screen to the right and back to the left again was making me dizzy. I don't know the reason behind adding that dancing overlay but it was a bad idea. Usually the superimposed video stays in one corner, and you don't have to follow it all over the place, you follow the text or images related to the presentation instead.
