◾️Where to Eat in LA:
Damn crazy, I am traveling for a conference and this video popped up. It seems Barcelona is extremely similar to Buenos Aires, Argentina. They don't have dinner until past 9PM also and restaurants don't open until around that time also.

◾️Best Cities to Travel Alone in the United States:
I live half in Rome and also in London (I’m a born and bred Londoner but my husband is from Rome). Neither of us have EVER been pick-pocketed. I feel most tips are so obvious. Even in London I have seen someone’s phone being picked off the table, my sister is guilty of doing this. Put phones and cards in bag, crossbody and hold towards the front. My husband puts his phone or wallet in inner jacket pocket OR front pocket, or he gives it to me. Leave backpacks at home. As for tipping, it’s bad to bring this to Europe because it becomes expected from the rest of us Europeans, and it’s not customary. We don’t have service workers paid poorly like in the US.

My parents are older have very little travel experience, my dad has trouble walking and uses an electric wheelchair for slightly long distances (anything over 15min+ walk) they are travelling with my younger cousin and her husband. All speak Spanish. The cousins want to stay in Gothic Quarter and I'm concerned about the area thinking Lexiample may be best for the older folks. Can they take a taxi in to the Gothic Quarter daily? I'd love your thoughts.

Thanks for making and sharing this video. You cover a lot of useful things other videos don't, e.g., that Spain is divided into many autonous zones, that there are super blocks, the bus after the subway stops running. Thanks so much.

Great video! Did you go to Sagrada Familia Nativity tower? If so, how many steps up did you have to go up for the Nativity tower? Did you feel claustrophobic going either up or down?

This is not accurate...signs in Barcelona are only in catalan and although castilian (spanish for foreigners) is offical, catalan is the preferent language in local and autonomous administrations

I’m organising a stag party later this month and I’ve told my friends to have shorts and jogging pants with zipped pockets. I agree with you that most places are walkable, we are going visit Camp Nou from Poble Nou. The park is still in zone one and with a metro ticket you can change metros and it counts as one journey. Also there is a T familia ticket 8 journeys that can be share with friends, so for instance this would be return journeys for 4 people on one ticket. Totally agree with you that Barcelona is a fantastic city, it’s my favourite of all the cities that I’ve visited.

Is there a particular app for metros ?

@LiveLife-MJThank you so much for sharing this great video about traveling to Barcelona! These practical tips will undoubtedly help first-time travelers planning a trip to this beautiful city to better prepare their itinerary. I'm also very excited to see what kind of different Europe I'll encounter while traveling by AVE! My friend taught me how I can get cheap train tickets, so this trip will no longer be by plane but by rail ~ looking forward to my European rail trip!
