The sergeant doesn't understand how the push bar got pushed back so far? As a sergeant he should know that when somebody hits their brakes, the front end sinks and the top of push bar is going to Bear the most of the force. It definitely shows a basic lack of understanding involving rear-end collisions under heavy braking.

Most astonishing event in this video is that the officer types in a phonenumber that he had memorized. I haven't done that in like 25 years.

I like how the cops still talk to him like he is detained. You know the ran his license for warrants, etc. If had gotten arrested for that the case would have been dismissed because there was no probable cause.

About 10 years ago I had a client who's son was left disabled after a cop rear ended him at a red light because he was looking at his computer instead of the road, eyes on the road at all times. You life and the lives of those around you literally depend on it!

The real looser in all this is whoever built that push bar. Like it bent that much and went into the hood over that tiny little bump? Ive rear ended my buddies harder than that multiple times just messing around because we both drove $500 trucks and did way less damage.

Yea sorry, you don't slam on your brakes in the middle of the road to let animals cross. You are endangering everyone around you. Yes, it's horrible, but the accidents that have been caused by people doing this over the years are worse... Sure, the officer shouldn't have been looking at his computer, but this could have easily caught out anyone who was even just changing the radio station or adjusting the climate control.

I think this is so sad that the government is this corruption and tyrannical against its people. The cop can lie and say he didn't know they would lose any once any of the money if it was proven. At the same time, though, don't we pay them to be uneducated? Lets face it they knew the process and that they would get their cut to their department and so much would go back to the citizen. Shame shame on you if you didn't know mister office do better, and do what you get paid to do and educate yourself so that you protect the citizen constitutional rights.
