As someone born in 1985, I can say that we watched films on both black-and-white televisions and, later, on color TVs. We used VHS tapes, Atari cartridges, music cassettes, and many other analog formats. Then we witnessed the transition into the digital and physical media era, as well as the incredible technological journey from rotary phones to mobile phones.
Those born in the 1980s truly belong to a legendary generation. The period between 1985 and 1995, in particular, was an incredible and unforgettable era.

I was born in Brazil in 1978. This song reminds me of waking up on weekends and going out to play with my friends, then coming back for lunch, then going out again and returning late at night. It reminds me of going to VHS rental stores to rent movies and watch them on rainy days. My whole family at home, sitting on the floor playing Super Mario Bros. and the wonderful Nintendo games. Good times, it brings tears of nostalgia. I wish my son could experience at least half of what I did.
