I actually enjoy the game theory part of fantasy football like this almost more than the actually data on players. Picking "your guys"seems like more luck but strategies like this make me think its some skill involved lol

@symbeoteslayer13I try to take one RB and one WR in the first two rounds, and then I usually lean on WR and come back to RB in round 5 or 6. Of course, it depends on who falls to me. I'm not against starting with 2 WR or 2 RB, and I usually try to adapt for the best player available.

@danielP940Excellent and useful data as usual Guys. This has been a key question for me going into redraft season. There are some analysts that point to the increased need for early WRs if you are in a league where you have to start three. Yet my own experience aligns with what you are saying today. In leagues where I was weak at RB at the top, I spent the entire season chasing useful RBs.

@danielP940I’m in a 6 man league and plan on drafting Amon Ra St. Brown with the 5th pick because of how safe his floor is. Who Should I take with my next pick? I want to take Omarion Hampton because of the upside but it could be a risk. Do I take Jonathan Taylor or James Cook instead?

@paulsenzig9097heavy running back not only won me a 2024-25 league, but if you overload enough, it turns into the best asset management strategy too. People end up RB starved by end of year, WRs of use pop up on waivers more often
@Zmoneybaby13I think it's gonna be tough for RBs since it seems like now a lot of teams are running with the committee approach rather than a workhorse RB

I play in a 3 WR redraft full PPR league and I've won the most 1st place finishes (3) and almost always leave the first round going back to back WR. RBs you only need 2 to hit while I potentially need 4 WR to be relevant
