Slow moving rain will push north, bringing widespread wet conditions to Scotland, whilst Orkney and Shetland will see showers. The amber warning for rain will cease at 18:00 but a yellow warning will remain in place overnight and all through tomorrow. Winds will be strong, particularly over the highlands, where precipitation is likely to fall as snow.
