Really good tips. I like the idea of flying to a different cheaper airport then bus, train, car to the end destination. Make that local drive part of the sightseeing.

I stayed an extra day in Milan recently because even with the hotel cost, it was cheaper to fly back the next day. Extra day in Italy! And cheaper fare!

I get so tired of seeing this “hack” on YouTube and elsewhere. I’m a savvy traveler 65 years old travel to Europe dozens of times and since I retired, travel there once or twice a year. The way to save money is consolidator, not Google, not kayak or Priceline or any of the other tools online. The way save thousands is using a consolidator! But not just one consolidator, all of them! By getting a price from one consolidator then reach out to another to see if they can do any better you can save thousands. Always remember to be flexible with your dates and be ready to travel on a Saturday or a Wednesday. Obviously, off-season was going to be the most economical September October November January, February March. For my upcoming trip, I was able to book a business class trip round-trip from the East Coast to Europe for $3100 per person On British airways. Prices available on kayak and similar $5700.

Holafly is trash. Worst e-sim I’ve ever wasted $20USD on and terrible customer service. I had to buy a totally different solution in Amsterdam because they were so useless.

Think this may be the first time I've heard of an American regulation being significantly better than a UK/EU one.

Over here you can't even get a refund on a flight if you realise the second you click purchase it's the wrong date.

I thought I was going to get some new information....

Looks like I have been doing the most cheapest way to book a ticket, but it's still EXPENSIVE 🤣🤣🤣

Today, I found a round trip ticket from Charlottetown to Bangkok for CAD $2096(taxes included). That price was for one adult. I changed the parameters to one adult and one child (9 years old). The price went up by $200 each ticket. I then asked for a price for 2 adults. Got the lower price again. Since when is a child's ticket more expensive than an adults? Its normally given a discount. I cant figure this one out so I will have to call customer service for an explanation.

Google flights does not show the best flights.

Screw American Airlines. Never again.

You can't get an eSIM if you still owe on your physical device (phone). Also, the best international plan I have found is with Spectrum Mobile. Their unlimited plan is an extra $10/month and includes international roaming in about 170 countries. It works great.

Seems like you arent really giving any actual tips as the thumbnail showed, seems like you made ths video so that you could put an ad for that stupid fucking SIM card in it.! I tried that provider and they are garbage and here you are making a complete d ridiculous video with basic information so that you can promote it.

@David-e9u3s

WOW, like we are dumb and did not know it how to search!!!

@Bocca202

Use Kayak google flights doesn‘t show you the cheapest price

@gillese9446
@

the part about comparing sites and still missing deals is exactly what used to happen to me, i'd spend forever on google flights and kayak and still wonder if i was getting ripped off. ended up booking through top business class for a london trip last year and saved like 55% without doing any of the legwork myself, honestly wish i'd known about it sooner.

@Little_Legends_Clips

incognito mode works. I can see the same exact ticket at 30% difference at the same time. One is incognito one is not.

Nik/Allie are right that the days of prices suddenly dropping Tuesday at midnight are gone...

HOWEVER its still true that if you are flying long haul to holiday (as opposed to business) destinations you should start looking at Tuesday & Wednesday departs. Simply because everone wants to maximise their leave but reduced working days so if you start looking at flights leaving Thursday/Friday night or Saturdays these are always more expensive.

@nicktolhurstr635
@

Yep, I learned nothing new. And yes, despite all the tricks and tweaks the ticket price is still unaffordable... Unless you switch your vacation plans to a nearing village.

I don't care what anyone says dont search your flight until you're ready to book it, if you even look at it, price goes up to tomorrow

Google flights actually cost me $400. Told me to wait to book my flight until mid january opposed to November when I wanted to😢.

It's not "Supply & Demand", it's more like extortion and extreme capitalism on the customers while American airlines are socialized with the government/lobbyists/shareholders

As soon as he said airlines don't watch prices i immediately knew this guy was talking out of his ass.
United was caught recently confirming that theory when a customer tweeted about it and the response from the Twitter account was to literally do everything you said was "superstitious"
Dislike and stopped watching.

@jdarchie777
@

This guy is totally wrong.
I stick with one airline and alliance, I use that airlines credit card and buy everything with that card so I get average 17,000 point/miles every month and when I buy my ticket I get 10% off because I have become a diamond member. I always plan at least 6 months in advance to ensure I get the upgrade.

I have perpetual 3 round trip tickets to Europe business class every year at economy price and I have all the time in the world to book the cheapest hotels and since I stick with Star Alliance I get 2 x checked bags free and whatever seat I want free.

Who wants to wait around for a deal and then pay out the butt for a horrible room and then don’t build alliance credits.

Can you use Daily Drop if you live outside of the US or just the Mighty Travel

@dianabusjrabrown

Bull shit. I delete cookies and flights go back to the original price everytime I searched multiple times and see it jump in price. Right after I delete
Cookies prices go back to original

I thought you said dont book from the airline itsself. But then you said to get the 24 hours to cancel you have to book

Another tip is to search for the departure and return ticket individually, in a lot of cases, you can find them cheaper.
