netflix is desperate for content, because they invented subscribers watching everything they have in one weekend.

I just want to say, why aren't more videos made like the first 10 seconds of this video? Everyone who clicked on the video knows the premise. The person making the video knows the audience is already coming in knowing the premise. Why is it 20 years into youtube videos we still have 5 minute introductions explaining the premise to every video essay?

WHO ATE IT???

@jaroslavserbus2331

Okay, but who ate the toast???? I will need a follow up please

This makes me SO happy. I've been complaining for years abkut how formulaic these corny Netflic documentaries have become and I feel like I've been yelling into the vacuum of space with everyone telling me how great they are.

@Arthur-nr5ci
@

I wanna know who did it 😂

@ZanyJosh
@

missed total shot that shows setup and boom arm and teleprompter glass so talent looks into camera

@carrycat876
@

"This is RIDICULOUS" this line exist in every single of the documentaries 😂

@AVI_1052
@

You missed the bit where the interview subjects sit into the frame and we see the slate and final touches 😂

@alexyeo6632

Literally everyone at work everyone will be talking about the toast documentary 🙄

@alicjaj8271

This is spot on

@superpiccirillo
@

You also have to keep the camera on the interviewee for 10 seconds before and after the interview...so we can see them look around the room and look suspicious

@divad23
@

The Jeff Ross Russel Brandt thing.

@gregxcelente4271
@

You absolutely nailed the: Finished sentence, zoom camera, interviewee looks down to the left of screen with a twitch in facial expression. Just lets the audience sit with the jam on toast theft for a moment.

I know this wasn't in a small town in America, but if it was, it'd start with a shot of the water tower

@pressure-popshit
@

Why is it this year every video I've seen has not only been from Australia and New Zealand? But actually kinda informative as well? 😂

@Kai-n1v2n

You need to work on your audio design. The whole thing needs to be equalised and mixed properly.

@IvanAbreu-s8r

Pretty please do a sequel. Several years later and as if an entire trial happened behind the scenes in the meantime.

@weirdrain
@

How about the intro where they play a mini trailer for the documentary you’re already watching, then build up to a crescendo where they splice together 6 different newscasters saying “toast toast toast toast toast toast”

@ashh3051
@

Great job. Now who ate the toast?

@BrunoBrasil-vl9iz
@

This is terribly funny 😊

@aletabarker
@

But you need a bad script and the willingness to make it bowring.

@Rein-in-die-Maas
@

Needs some grainy cam corder footage of the victim eating jam and toast in childhood

@janllh24
@

Still waiting for the Vegemite sequel

@WhereTheWavesAt
@

does not mean that anyone is going to buy it though. How about telling peeps to find a niche subject, a sales channel, sponsors, dist deals FIRST ??? naahhh just venture out blindly into the woods buy some equipment you dont know how to use and wait for studios to call you just begging to buy your film.... then reality arrives and your cheque for $0 is in the mail.
