In our series of beginner's guides to the basics of cars, we're going to help you better understand what you need to know to make vehicle ownership easier. Whether you're trying to explain an issue to your mechanic, looking to tackle a project yourself, or even if you simply want to be able to talk cars with your friends, understanding the parts of your car and where to find them is invaluable.
In this video, we cover the major parts that you will find under the hood of your car. We have four cars in the shop to demonstrate the differences in the engine bay between naturally aspirated, turbocharged, supercharged, and twin-charged engines. So no matter the vehicle you own, this video applies to you.

@fahvm4362Good discussion. Just to correct a minor error in the Turbo description…..
The turbo uses exhaust gasses to run a turbine that compresses the intake air into the engine, resulting in more power. The speaker misspoke and left out the “intake air” part. Love to see more of these

@HotMikelol That "pesky" windshield washer fluid light came on a week ago. in my Lexus GX. Great video, Mike. Thank You for not breaking down each vehicle, into separate videos. As it's perfect for us whom enjoy and/or learn, from comparing visuals next to each other.
