She’s basically part of his character arc throughout God of war 2018 all the way up to Ragnarok not to mention Faye is the one who faced Thor before Kratos let’s not forget the PlayStation made a female lead franchise that’s horizon. Nobody’s complaining about that. Are they amateurs?

I'm calling it now. God of War: Lets Do Laundry will not live up to expectations. It's GoW without Kratos, and they're trying to add some cringey anime style flying around fighting that bugged me even more than not playing as Kratos. It's like buying a new Mario Odyssey 2 and you're all excited for a new Mario game, just to find out you play the entire game as Toad.

If they HAVE to do yet another hack n slash button masher just to shove a female main character down your throat just create a new IP, or at the very least just call it Laufey. It has nothing to do with being a female character, the game I'm most interested in is the new Tomb Raider, this just isn't God of War the same way they fucked up The Last of Us 2 by killing Joel in the first act. You'd think they'd learn after TLOU1 sold 37 million copies and TLOU2 barely squeaked out 10.

Honestly as someone who didn't like the genre swap that happened with the reboot, this looks like a return to form for OG fans. Looks like she doesn't need permission to jump. Hopefully I don't have to play the other ones to play this one because it looks closer to the originals gameplaywise.

I hate to say it, but I feel this list is legit. It isnt legit because the games are better, but rather because all those games on the list are popular IPs that have been around for decades. Usually games that win game of the year win it due to IP recognition. Since Stellar Blade is a new IP still, it falls short because more people recognize those IPs than Stellar Blade.
