I have 11 year old girl. She doesn't do what we ask her to do for example- put the socks in the shoes or take shower or eat quickly. We are struggling for last many years but there is no change. She just ignores. I have a twist year old also, he sees her and now tries to follow as she does. Ho to make my daughter listen and do as we ask?

Neuro-Parenting is a science-backed approach to raising children that aligns with brain development (0:26-0:33). It emphasizes understanding how a child's brain develops from birth to adulthood and how parents can play a crucial role in shaping their child's intelligence, emotions, and decision-making (0:26-0:41).

The core idea revolves around applying brain science to parenting strategies (0:26-0:31), focusing on different parenting approaches for various age groups:
0-5 years (Ladyet): Focus on love and nurturing (1:00-1:07). This period is crucial for brain development, with 700 new brain connections forming per second (1:53-1:59). Parents should provide a supportive and peaceful environment, as the subconscious mind and foundational attitudes are formed during this time (2:05-2:29).
5-13 years (Tadyet): Focus on discipline and shaping behavior (1:09-1:15). This involves setting good habits and memories, understanding that the prefrontal cortex (responsible for decision-making) is still developing until around 22-23 years old (4:27-4:42). Parents need to be careful not to instill fear or self-doubt during this sensitive period (5:11-5:24).
13-18 years (Mitrayet): Transition to a friendship role (1:17-1:21). At this age, hormones are peaking, and children are heavily influenced by peers (6:42-6:53). Discipline becomes less effective, and parents need to carefully monitor the child's environment and company in a gentle way (7:07-7:42).

Children absorb color to develop visual, cognitive, and emotional skills, starting with high-contrast (black/white) for focus in infancy, moving to bright primary colors (red/yellow) for stimulation, and later calmer tones for rest. Parents manage this by curating environments, using educational toys for sorting, and selecting color-specific, stimulating or calming, environments based on the child's needs and age.

Dr Sweta you have chosen the most important topic for discussion and teaching which can improve the quality of generations to come
We need to introduce such a subject in school curriculum along with taking care of parental education and would be parents education to make them ready to handle their kids n help them grow in their life independently fully aware of their capacities and capabilities to bring out their potentials for good
Best of luck and congrats for the effort
