The tracking period for sales and streaming is Friday to Thursday, while radio airplay is tracked from Monday to Sunday. The first number-one song on the US Hot 100 was ""Poor Little Fool"" by Ricky Nelson on August 4, 1958.

• Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles (also known as Bubbling Under the Hot 100) is a chart published weekly in the United States. The chart lists the top songs that have not yet charted on the main US Hot 100. Chart rankings are based on radio airplay, sales, and streams. In its initial years, the chart listed 15 positions, but expanded to as many as 36 during the 1960s, particularly during years when over 700 singles made the US Hot 100 chart. From 1974 to 1985, the chart consisted of 10 positions; since 1992, the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart has listed 25 positions.

WOTW: Hostage (The insensitive Trayvon Martin bar from 21 on this song alone got this the bottom spot. Just.... EW. And keep in mind, that's not even the worst line said on Latto's entire album. Look at the song Get Money Girl (Thank GOD that missed the Hot 100) if you wanna know what I'm talking about. Also, saying you wanna keep someone you love Hostage is genuinely so sus)
Love seeing Aespa on the Bubbling Under chart! Surprised they’ve never made the Hot 100 proper, but it would be amazing to see them get there someday. They’re so underrated.
@piran1807Honestly, choosing these spots was kind of tough:
BOTW: Think as You Drunk - The production with that fiddle and salloon piano is doing a lot of heavy lifting, but I kind of like the mix up of words Green uses in the chorus, even if I have no thoughts on him sampling Toby Keith.
WOTW: Hostage - I don't wanna say this is bad, and I'm glad that these 2 seem to be having a good time with each other, but saying how they want to hold the other one hostage is just weird. Oh, and the empty content doesn't help either.
Next week, the new Taylor Swift song for "Toy Story 5", as well as some possible impact from Malcolm Todd, maybe?
