Canada was much better off before free trade. We lost all of our manufacturing to the US then to Mexico. The only benefit was to multinationals. We were a good country before free trade and we will be stronger and more independent with out it. We need to renegotiate the water and energy deals we have, the US will never be the same and we should never put our trust in them again. They will always be one election away from a repeat.
