UPSC Prelims 2026 Controversy! Students Angry Over Tough Question Paper #upsc #upscexam #exam
Video Overview & Insights
UPSC Prelims 2026 candidates have raised serious concerns over the difficulty level and pattern of the exam paper.
Media and social media platforms have a responsibility to highlight genuine student concerns and not ignore them after the exam cycle ends.
Many students feel this year’s UPSC CSE Prelims paper was highly unpredictable and not clearly aligned with a stable understanding of the syllabus and expected preparation level. A significant number of serious aspirants were unable to confidently attempt many questions.
Students face real financial and emotional pressure, and for many, one attempt represents an entire year of hard work and sacrifice. This is a life-impacting examination, not just a routine test.
We request media platforms to raise and discuss these concerns so that student voices are heard at a wider level.
There is a growing demand for Re exam , clarity, fairness, and transparency in the examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), the central civil services examination authority of India.
Students from Mukherjee Nagar and other coaching hubs claimed the paper was lengthy, highly application-based, and difficult to understand for Hindi and regional language aspirants due to translation issues.

Though I didn't attempt this year's prelims (Spidey tinkling 😂), when I saw the 'Public Administration' and ethics questions in the paper I knew they were trying to manipulate aspirants by showing "We are UNPREDICTABLE"... The question pattern could be only solved by 'Tricksters' OR maybe UPSC prepared questions using AI (because I think it was not made for analytically prepared students, but for those who can guess conceptually)
Maybe Next year's prelims questions might contain ICSE/CICSE syllabus so that only the advanced students (since their childhood) could pass the exam and not the one who's disciplined, understands deeply, yet couldn't make it because of government school background...
