I recently went to Jeju with my family, and my 10-year-old son insisted that we visit most of the places shown in this video. It honestly made our Jeju experience so much better.

The insights in the video really helped us understand the local cuisine and culture in a deeper way. For me, the most interesting place was Badang-Gil. The seafood noodles were truly out of the ordinary. They may not be for everyone, but having lived in Asia for 16 years, we really understood why the place is so unique.

We also visited the small noodle place near Seogwipo Market, run by the lone auntie who makes boiled pork noodles. We loved the experience, although the flavour was a bit more of an acquired taste for us. Still, the auntie took care of us like we were family, and that alone would make us go back.

The mackerel sashimi restaurant was also something special. It is definitely an experience, though one that may take many people out of their comfort zone, especially because the texture of the mackerel skin is quite different from what people might expect from Japanese sushi.

Overall, this video is a very well-curated masterpiece. It genuinely helped us experience Jeju in a richer and more meaningful way.

Love love this video. Jeju is a gem within 1.5hour's flight from my city (Shanghai) and is insanely beautiful.
I dont eat pork so that leaves me with few options except digging deep into its seafood scene. Thanks to this video I bookmarked a lot of future options to explore.
Also, apart from the abalone (which is a must), the haenyeo grandmas are selling probably the best fresh sea cucumbers the world has to offer. We grade sea cucumbers in Chinese cuisine and the region's sea cucumber is deemed the best-- And imagine eating them freshly caught! The red ones especially are really nice when slight cooked, bit sticky and soft in texture, less chewy and full of umami flavors. Love fresh seafood raw but would recommend cooked abalone and sea cucumbers cooked.

I like watching her past videos I missed. I've said this before...She is my favorite foodie. I really love how she describes the food and the area she is at.
The other thing I really like about her is that she is cocky, funny, authentic, charismatic, whitty and she isn't afraid to put herself out there.

I hope people also get to know about the extremely racist immigration of Jeju island and the vicious inhumane treatment they did with Sachin awasthi and many other Indians. The world needs to hear and know their truth.
