@gregwilliams2772When i was 10 years old the world was talking about the rise of China. How they would be the leaders in everything industrial in 10 years time. Then a few decades later and China and SE Asia has seen massive growth and the largest group of people in world history lifted out of poverty. A 20 year story of integration with the West and mainly America.
And now here's Russia, another mostly poor society with massive inequality, who was previously part of the G8. Who declared war on Ukraine, and in 4 years has caused the fastest decline in their prosperity, health, education and demographics.
What was previously lauded as the 2nd best military globally has been oblitirated.
They say balance is natural. Is this mother nature's way of restoring balance?
I can't believe that.
If Russia had stayed within their own borders, continued drilling oil and gas, they could still be the biggest exporter to Europe today. But look how that turned out.
