Yes, Trump's name has been removed but I expect the tarp will remain until after his birthday (or until there is the next court order) so people won't have the satisfaction to see that it's gone. Diabolical!

When I travelled in Israel with an Israeli in 1976, we were given tea and cakes at a roadside Palestinian home, very warmly welcoming people. The Israeli then mocked them, saying they kept their cows in their house. I saw no evidence of that and was horribly embarrassed. The Palestinian father knew he was being mocked but nonetheless remained hospitable. I have never forgotten this incident. To me, stil today, it epitomises the Israeli view of Palestinians as sub-humans. I liked the Palestinian better than the Israeli I was travelling with.
I never understood this - how Israelis could do this because they knew what it was to be adjudged sub-human.
This was one of the formative views of my life.
