A comfortable early-morning flight from Amsterdam to Las Palmas (Gran Canaria) onboard the brand-new Transavia Airbus A321 Neo. This is my first time flying with Transavia on this model, and I must say it was pretty good.
After exploring the currently under reconstruction Amsterdam Airport, which in many areas doesn’t even look like the same airport, and enjoying an interesting planespotting session, we boarded Transavia’s first A321neo, which would take us to Gran Canaria.
Que gran video Lucas como siempre!!Mis padres estuvieron en Amsterdam hace 4 dias y me dijeron que el aeropuerto de Amsterdam es Grande y aparte que tuvieron retrasos y les cambiaron la puerta que cada modulo tenia su numero y tuvieron que salir del aeropuerto para entrar en otro modulo o algo asi fue increible lo que me contaron pero por parte del resto del viaje,en amsterdam se lo pasaron genial,me encantan tus videos sigue haciendonos disfrutar!!
PD:Me gustaria ir a Viena este otoño que veo que sueles ir bastante no se si me puedes recomendar que ver y tal aparte de los mercadillos navideños no se si tienes correo o algo?

Due to some problems at the boarding gate and a very long taxi at Amsterdam airport we ended up taking off exactly with the sunrise. Omg! What an incredible one! The orange light of the sunrise together with some shallow fog made of this takeoff one of the best in a long time.
We flew to Belgium and quickly entered France, leaving Paris on our left, flying towards Nantes. We overflew the Gulf of Biscay and entered Spain over Oviedo (Asturias). From there, we flew towards Lisbon, where we entered the Atlantic.

From Lisbon, we flew in a direct course to Gran Canaria, avoiding some huge storms on the way. The storm Olivier was at that moment moving from the Canaries towards Spain mainland and we just saw it on our route: lots of towering cumulus and some cumulonimbus had to be avoided during the route.

Love how Transavia and klm work together, KLM mostly doing intercontinental flights, and a bit of continental, while transavia is mostly doing continental flights for the dutch themselves. on klm cityhoppers there are mostly non-dutchies

Love the green seats and interior, not very keen on the Transavia cabin crew - I was told I couldn't use my video camera at all in the cabin last time i flew with this airline to connect to a flight to Singapore. I cannot believe that only drinks and stroops were only available on a flight from AMS to the Canaries.

What an absolutely stunning take off in the fog 😍 And those thunderclouds too, epic! Shame about the refreshments not being available but the plane looked good, great leg room for a change!

Prachtig toestel nu nog even af van die goedkopen groen kleur van binnen (bijvoorbeeld donkerblauw en groene bies) en alles is compleet!

very 'cheap' cabin, small plastic grass-green seats...why not 'big seats' or BC? more then 4 hours in a green-grass hell, awfull!

Transavia has interesting routes from AMS/EIN/RTM and is a good alternative to other LCC like Wizz Ryanair etc.

De eerste keer dat ik met Transavia gevlogen heb is begin zeventiger jaren toen ik met mijn ouders op vakantie ging naar Benidorm. We vlogen met een Caravelle van Amsterdam naar Alicante, en weer terug natuurlijk. Ik heb later nog vaker met Transavia gevlogen, heb het altijd prettig gevonden met ze te vliegen.

@Andyoso88They like to use that 36L runway at Schiphol (18R when landing), but it is really far away from the terminal.
You will typically taxi for 8km, making you believe that you boarded the bus instead of an airplane...
Nice foggy takeoff. One thing. Taking off from Amsterdam isn’t actually Amsterdam. Schiphol is in Haarlemmermeer.

@BasBremVery nice quality video…. The applause at the end was hilarious, quite some time ago I heard that. My last flight on Transavia was last year but regretfully still on one of their ancient (25+) years old 737s. That one still had fluorescent (TL) lighting which flickered at start up which looks SO old fashioned in 2025. I am SO glad KLM/Trransavia decided for Airbus, I wouldn’t have felt as comfortable on the MAX for future flights. Beautiful video and plane but Transavia should stock more of the items. I can only imagine that it was because it was an early morning flight and most people only have a light breakfast or just coffee. Were the seats comfortable? I flew a Pegasus Airbus and they were OK flying from Istanbul but not for much longer….

@MonehhoopsVery beautiful departure from Amsterdam. The green seats are ok. Nothing can be worse than the blue & yellow Ryanair cabin🤪. I came with a Condor 757 to Gran Canaria to start my cruise there🤗
