INTRO HAD A REDO, its great mate! What website or app did you use to do that, its really cool.

As for the trains: lots of 800s, nice, never knew GWR had 387's, learn something new every time. Good to see no diesels there as electric rail is sadly the way now. Also nice to see Heathrow express.

Train Numbers – e.g. 43032 or 800110 – These are train numbers which are specific to that train. No trains can be numbered the same. Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Multiple Units are 6 digit numbers where the first three numbers are the class of train e.g. 390154 would be a class 390. Click Here to learn more

Headcodes – e.g. 1F32 or 5M00 – These are used by the railway signallers to determine where trains are on the network. Every train within a region has a specific four code ID. Click Here to learn more

What's the difference between the Elizabeth line and the TFL-rail?

— @jordigb1111

Set Number – e.g. WB64 or NL04 – These are semi-permanent loco hauled coach formations which are kept together for formalities. The first two letters usually indicate the maintenance depot responsible e.g. OC is Old Oak Common, LA is Laira. The number indicates the rake number.

🚄 ABOUT ME

All the Class 800s aren't that bad asides from GWR's once they managed to install the worst seats ever made

Hello everyone, I’m StarlifeStudios and my passion is to experience and video railway stations across the United Kingdom at both small and large locations, but, with an informative twist! My videos are also designed as a historical reference for the days of the past and to reminisce about the way things were. Join me as I continue to travel and be sure to let me know if you’d like me to video at your favourite or local station.

Awesome London Paddington. A lot of history made here such as the first passenger service of the ironic InterCity High Speed Train (and last), to breaking records to certain areas and to the introduction of the Hitachi Trains.

Stella footage and mixed bag. Oh, has to be said; If you travel along the GWML through to Reading, there are now quite a few TFL Rail stations now along there :-)

Paddington, also known as London Paddington, is a Central London railway terminus and London Underground station complex, located on Praed Street in the Paddington area. The site has been the London terminus of services provided by the Great Western Railway and its successors since 1838. Much of the main line station dates from 1854 and was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

Paddington is the London terminus of the Great Western Main Line; passenger services are primarily operated by Great Western Railway, which provides the majority of commuter and regional passenger services to west London and the Thames Valley region as well as long-distance intercity services to South West England and South Wales. It is also the terminus for the Heathrow Express and TfL Rail services to and from Heathrow Airport and Reading. It is one of 11 London stations managed directly by Network Rail. It is situated in fare zone 1 and has two separate tube stations providing connections to the Bakerloo, Circle, District, and Hammersmith & City lines, and from 24 May 2022, the Elizabeth line.

The station has been perennially popular for passengers and goods, particularly milk and parcels. Major upgrades took place in the 1870s, the 1910s and the 1960s, each trying to add additional platforms and space while trying to preserve the existing services and architecture as much as possible. Paddington was first served by London Underground trains in 1863, as the original western terminus of the Metropolitan Railway, the world's first underground railway. In the 20th century, suburban and commuter services appeared at Paddington as the urban sprawl of London moved westwards. Despite the numerous upgrades and rebuilding, plus damage sustained in particular during World War II, Brunel's original design is still recognisable.

Please do the Elizabeth Line when it’s up and running from Tuesday 24th May. I will be going to London in the summer to ride on the Elizabeth Line.

Hello sorry I’m late, Really nice video I went on a GWR trip yesterday from Paddington first class

@TommyTrainspotter47

I’m excited for the Elizabeth line to open even though I live in the West Midlands.

I have grandparents that live in London and they might let me ride on the new cross rail service.
And I’ve only been on 2 lines: the Victoria line and the jubilee line. Four if you include the DLR and London overground.

Shame there are no HSTs at Paddington anymore, but nice to see the new Crossrail 345s and Heathrow Express 387s. Great video!
