the 1st one on the list (#5) I was there that night, was the 1st ever shootout goal the Pens scored (game winner) AND was also the same game Mario scored the 690th and LAST goal of his career. (10 Nov 2005) I am one of only a handful of people who can say I witnessed both of Mario's "final" goals in the Civic Arena. Mario's first "retirement", 8 years earlier in the 97 playoffs against PHI, game 4, every Pens fan has seen a replay of THAT one, thought the roof was going to fall down when that puck went past Garth Snow. Problem was, NO ONE saw his PERMANENT retirement coming due to health issues and didn't realize what they saw until months later. SORRY to digress from Sid's accomplishments, but I had to get that off my chest :D
