She was wasted, they were prob wasted but maintaining better, they paid for her cab, they called shortly after to see if she was safe, they WENT TO HER HOUSE to check in, then they called her folks and the police. I’m sorry, what?? When I was 19/20, I would have thought I was a good friend for getting her home (which, sadly, was not how it ended up).


I dunno. I think her friends did the best they could. Also, her keys dropped could mean she was too drunk to get the key in the lock, or wanted to come back out. Poor girl.

First it is never a mistake to report the stalker to the police. Secondly I think it is unfair to blame police in general for stalkers not being dealt with and taken more seriously from the beginning. Unfortunately they do have follow laws that are slowly starting to deal with these stalkers but they have a long way to go. I don’t think intimidation by an officer is going to make much difference when these stalkers are prepared to take their victims lives and in this case their own. Police officers have wives, sisters, mothers and children and although maybe not all but the majority feel helpless and have empathy but they can only do what the law allows them to do. It is an unjustice and falls directly in the hands of law makers. So I don’t think it is fair to blame officers. I appreciate your channel and definitely watch it again but honestly some of your opinions didn’t sit right with me. There are so many true crime channels out there and I do watch them but sometimes I think some opinions are sensationalism to tell a good stories. With the amount of true crime out there I wonder how it affects the victims families. People telling there very personal and horrendous stories and adding their own opinions and even suggesting how the families feel. I think there should be a great amount of respect and empathy in telling these stories while telling the facts of the stories. I don’t just maybe something to consider. It is just one persons opinion.

When I was a teen I had a stalker named Michael. He broke into my mom’s house and I awoke to him standing over me with a very big knife.
“If I can’t have you nobody can,” he said. As he went to plunge the knife into my chest my newly adopted two year old Doberman jumped out of the dark and bit his knife arm. He screamed and woke everyone in the house.
That dog stayed by my side for the next ten years.
Michael ended up in prison for theft.

About a year ago, my daughter was walked home by 2 young male bartenders. Neither had a car so they walked her about 1 mile to our house because she was too drunk to walk home alone. Neither my daughter or myself drive either. They were true gentlemen. We have been blessed to be watched over by decent people. I thank Jesus!!

Those people that tried to help should have just called the police.

Rewatching this in 2025 and the new FOIA documents that dropped last month completely change the context of the ransom note handwriting analysis. They conveniently left out that the mom’s coworker had almost identical slant and pressure. Why is no one talking about this??

Never leave your mate hung dry. One of her friends should have gone with her, to ensure she arrived home. My friends would never leave one of us to go home alone in a drunken state. We went out together, we went home together.
