I remember when they switched the great Cigar (Bill Mott/ Jerry Bailey) to the dirt track! He was like a locomotive!!
I was present watching him tie Citation for 16 wins at Arlington Park in '96 I believe! Started going to the track with Dad and little sis in around 1960 at age 4!!!

Nobody is talking about FULLEFFORT. I just have a feeling this race is going to produce a price. Bred for dirt but has run on turf and synthetic and now tries dirt. Gaffalione rides and this horse made an impressive move to win the Jerome Stakes and was hand ridden once cleared by Irad. I expect a solid effort and a big price, may not win, but exotics.

Potente is 20-1 and the trainer is Bob Baffert. He is not a legend for nothing...maybe not to win, but for a place bid sounds nice.

Winning colors female in 88 went wore to wire. Bob battert horse did it n won the triple crown . Twice his two horses did it . I like a horse who finishes 4th with 5 lengths coming da derby race . Some horses who finish 2nd n 3rd rarely wins da derby . Minedatbird had that pic on Thursday leading up to da debt to win it. It finished last race 4th n 2 lengths. 50/1. Giacomo finished same way last race n won derby at 50/1 . The Wood , Fl derby , Santa Anita , blue grass , Arkansas derby , winners all looks good . For da derby . The ? Is . Who got staying power in the end of the race . Who will be used too early . It’s about Pace.
