next Bond should be actor Leo Suter or Henry Cavill

I'm a James Bond purist.There are only 13 James Bond novels written by Ian Fleming.Therefore , in my opinion , there are only thirteen james bond movies period.

The most brutal and visceral hand to hand combat given in cinemas yet, and then this silly dialog.
>"is he dead?"
>"I sincerely hope so"

I miss the old days brothers, when movies were fun and simple

Great selection ! almost scared me in the end, good job. In Diamonds are forever, the scene ends better after the moment you cut. "You just killed James Bond !" That's who he was ? That prooves that nobody is indestructible." And the "She's just dead" after he gets rid of a killer in a dancing in Thunderball is just perfect. I'm a fan of the : "Shocking, Positivly shocking " after electrocuting a bad guy in a bath in Goldifnger" too.

... @ 21:54 ... it reminds me of a showing of the Tonight's Show with Johnny Carson, when Rodger Moore was a guest and Johnny ask
him a question about his life at home.
Rodger ( Moore ) answered; " Well just last Saturday I was in the kitchen and The kid's walked in and said; " We're going to the Movies - >
to watch " The Real James Bond " !
" That really hurt. "
As for me, " I thought that was Pretty Good " ! Only " Sean Connery " was of the worth " to Play the Part " !

Watching these Top 23 James Bond Moments reminds me of how much I hate special effects and action movies and their intent to provide sensory overload with nonstop action in lieu of providing a plot with character development.

Number 21 was one of the best moments in any Bond film. 😲
Number 20 made everyone in the cinema wince in sympathy -- especially the men. 🤢

Number 9 was a silly movie == the worst of the Roger Moore films, and those were the worst James Bond films.
But that sky-diving sequence was really cool . 😄

I'd have probably swapped out any of the hand-to-hand combat scenes for the one between James Bond and Alex Trevalyan in Goldeneye (1995).
That was the most vicious fight I'd ever seen, between two characters who knew their stuff.

Also, the stairwell fight in "Casino Royale," was the only one (thus far) that included the Bond Girl.
Vesper spent almost the entire sequence just trying to not get slaughtered, but in the end came in clutch and actually helped.

However, Number One was absolutely correct.

1:55 JESUS CHRIST!??! No one said “hey maybe turn that down” or “fade it in” good lord that shit scared me

What an incredible handsome man Pierce Brosnan was, and a half decent Bond. Unfortunately Ralph Fiennes is too old to play James Bond, but in his thirties he would have been an excellent cold war Bond as described in the books.

Sean Connery was a legend no doubt but I liked Dalton in a licence to kill, brosnan in Goldeneye and Craig in casino royale

The best 007? Goldfinger. The music, the cars, the gadgets, Connery and the best villain with the best name, ODDJOB.

@thyslop1737

"You're quite right. An inch too low." Perfect.

@chrismorrison3696

Sean and Craig had an intense inner savagery, Pierce, a sense of coolness, Roger had Smokey and the Bandit comic relief. Timothy and Charles, I dismiss as 007.

@Mudeuropeans
@

It's down to 3 bond as next bond Callum, Louis Patterson and a new one Patrick Gibson all three new people to me. I give it to Louis Patterson. Read about it on the independent website.

@Mudeuropeans

To imply that at least 50% of the greatest Bond moments were NOT during Sean Connery’s tenure is pure SACRILEGE! And 25% were performed by Patrick Craig. Plus, 5% of the remaining 25% was Lazeby’s “This never happened to the other fella.”

@psalmseeker
@

I think the best is Daniel Craig being tortured in Casino Royale, but you missed the best scene - "I've got a little bit of itch down there - do you mind"? That is the best

Top 23? Some were the bottom 23! The fencing scene between Bond and villian Gustav Graves, was one of the best action sequences of any bond movie.
