Inside the Vagos MC: Shocking Weapons Bust in California Revealed

😂😂😂 good movie

— @carlosduarte6763

In 1965 the Vagos Motorcycle Club started off as a rocking band of unsettled, speed-hungry war veterans riding around in Southern California. The affordable flat-headed Harleys, battle adrenaline, and the thirst of brotherhood joined them under the green patch of Loki. The first adventures involved fights in the local bars, midnight car trips and campfires along the road--plenty of bluster but not that much lead. However, many members resorted to violence because they had lost their jobs due to sick economies that had emerged after the war. Exhaust pipes were funded by Meth labs, and fees were paid by extortion. By the late 1970s, Vagos posed a threat to rival clubs; cops saw the gang as a syndicate; and small towns discovered that a group of vests in green could offer Main Street as a no‑go round in a few hours. The outlaw fantasy had turned into a regulated business of which adherence was currency and war policy. The Brotherhood did not leave, yet gain and dominance became the drive.

A Sleepy Village, a Murderous Secret

The cul -de-sacs in Rosamond hold not tanks, but sunset and children on bicycles. Nobody who waved at the tattooed riders fussing with their gleaming cruisers in the driveway had any idea that the garage was their armory, as well. Rifles were hidden behind the wall cavities, a grenade launcher was kept under the rolled up beach towels, and meth crystals were chilling with the baby formula. Leaders of the Vagos prefer suburban anonymity intentionally: Keeping the yard clean and discarding suspicious interest; I order something on Amazon and another shipment was delivered by the Vagos in the parts; and can be found conjuring alibis in school. By the time the door was pierced and the door was stormed by the deputies, they were heavily armored--it was a good thing they were. There were wires that had been booby-trapped along the floorboards and locking up a pit bull and a load of magazines. The bust was an illustration of how the modern biker gangs disguise themselves in HOA rules, making idyllic and peaceful neighborhoods into forward base operations. To those out there, the lesson was incinerating: evil will stand camouflaged in plain view behind the blissful white picket fence.
