@jamessimon3433#44 was in 05 his rookie year. My dad took us out to Pittsburgh to watch him play. Only Pens game I’ve ever been to and I’ll never forget it.
@poopityscoop69Oh yeah yall forgot, he’s a top 5 DEFENSIVE forward, so underrated in the d zone. Nobody plays all 200 feet like Crosby
@jeremystrittmatterjr9308AMEN 🙏🏼💯🎯‼️🎯🥂
@michellesigmarho2429Crosby, Canadian hockey hero.👏🏒🥅💯
@Joanne499freeze at 19:41 you can tell from his face that he scored before the puck was in the net
@nameless_no_nameThe one hand backhand while protecting puck, is one of the greatest goals I’ve ever seen.
Go out on the pond and try to re-create that 🤯
That goal against the islanders after missing almost 2 seasons was when i realized how special he truly is
@sean8290The thing about Crosby was he was the first of a new generation of hyper skilled players. Back when physicality was still the name of the game, he incorporated unmatched edge work, awareness and a new tier of offensive skill.
@gregoryshoemakeКросби < Овечкин
@ВасилийКузин-ш7еЯ из России, Джино + Кросби = все те кубки
@ВасилийКузин-ш7еSince this video was posted, you could probably edit together another 100 insane plays lol. Sid hasn't slowed down 19 seasons in.
@SonOfTamrielMy favorite player of all time
@JasonBlackburn_02Most players would dream to have 1 of these clips, he has hundreds, is nuts how he tore up the leauge and honestly he still does even with age
@Mitch-m7zSid got all the skills
@sharkusvelarde18:32 give crosby a couple of assists on that one is my favourite Bob Cole call. So good
@pattacconeThere hasnt been a big game in his career where Crosby didnt show up & make something happen to try & win, easily top 3 player & captain of all time
@patientmental875You give me crosby in his prime over McDavid anytime
@earlviney5212Maybe only Datsyuk and McDavid have cooler highlight reels. But Crosby can do it all
@jimgray3346I'm a big pens fan. I have been watching sid his whole career in the NHL. I never realized just how amazing his awareness is and was. You can't say he was passing the puck without looking between his legs and got lucky that many times to find an open teammate to create a scoring opportunity. The hate for this guy was serious and I get it. Shit, imagine him playing for Washington with ovi. Or the red wings? I would hate him too. I am sad he seems to have lost a little over the last few years. But he also doesn't have the same people he had back then as fellow pens.
@skylerwood373Dedication.
@charleszeigler2318It’s crazy that as of this writing you need to add THREE more years of highlights. And The Kid is still just as electric.
@milesteg8183Crosby out there just doing everything I wish that I could do, but he made it look prettier.
@MichaelStandcumbeCrosby is the player you would build if someone asked you build the most elite/complete player with a variety of other players skills.
Gretzky - IQ, Jagr's - Puck Protection, Lemieux - Ability to beat defenders, Datsyuk - Creativity, Bergerons - 200 Foot Game, Thornton - Passing, Pavelskis - Hand Eye Coordination, His own backhand.
You put all those skills into one person and it's Crosby. Top three ever to play IMO.
Why can't he do these kind of goals anymore? Is it really because he's getting to old? That's what everyone tells me.
@sidneyprescott725#1 — favorite memory of this was the aftermath. The first game after the Olympics was Buffalo @ Pittsburgh. I was listening to the radio broadcast and the PA announcer said, “The Pittsburgh Penguins wish to honor all of the Olympians participating in tonight’s game.” Then they read off a list of players that competed in the 2010 Vancouver games. Ryan Miller was announced second-to-last and the Pittsburgh crowd went absolutely nuts for him.
Before Sid was announced, they played the highlight of the golden goal, and I thought, “I wonder if they’re gonna boo this?” They did. The crowd BOOED Sidney Crosby in Pittsburgh! It was a truly hilarious though good-natured moment.
#2 — I was at this game. I remember watching it happen — Sid beating 4 Habs and scoring — and thinking to myself, “I just saw a career highlight.”
@Calabrin1#9 — the crowd pop on this goal is like the glass shattering and Stone Cold coming out to stunner 6 guys and clear the ring. When Sid breaks through the defense, you can see everyone start to lose it. They’re anticipating the goal before he even finishes.
@Calabrin1#56 — I’ve always been of the opinion that if you score on a delayed call, the penalty shouldn’t be canceled, and this highlight is a textbook case as to why. This was a flagrant hooking call, and just because Sid fought through it and scored, why should that mean the hooking infraction is just voided? On the contrary, he should get another chance. That’s what a penalty is— punishment for breaking the rules.
With the penalty shot waived off, there was ultimately no punishment for the hooking. Ridiculously unfair. Plus, Fowler fucking tackled him after the goal, which should have been another call.
Highlight #84 is completely nuts. He deliberately tried to bank it in off Lundqvist’s back… and it worked!
@Calabrin1Might have to redo this video again.
@chrismaxwell6192problem is it's been 4 years since this 100 was compiled. he's just been upping some of these since lol
@brev5057He’s the most complete hockey player of all time in my opinion he won’t have the most points but he definitely is the most complete
@eirikurjohnson3685The best to ever do it
@mitchlaliberte2187The fact it’s a top 100 for a single player speaks VOLUMES!
@mitchlaliberte2187Goat
@tymacdougall3140That open faced tip to the top corner was unreal
@The-Dom
