I forget the name, but I used to watch a live action educational kids show about insects. A tween boy and girl who were brother and sister, I believe, would get shrunk down to the size of an insect, and interact with puppeteered bugs. Two I remember were a housefly named Marty who was comic relief, and a slug who acted as a guru. When the two kids came to him with a plot-centric question, the slug would launch a pebble into a small pool of water, triggering footage of the insect that episode's plot revolved around. And every episode ended with the same sign off from the boy - "gotta buzz." Does this show sound familiar to anyone?

Here is a list of top 10 educational TV shows that I know:
10. Arthur. Ugh, I hate that show. The show's lessons and tough topics ruin my life. And I hate all the episodes of Arthur. My least favorite Arthur episode of all time is "Buster’s Breathless", because it has Buster finding out that he has an incurable lung disease called asthma.
9. I hate Schoolhouse Rock. All the Schoolhouse Rock episodes ruin my life.
8. As for Zoboomafoo, it's okay. I dislike all the episodes of Zoboomafoo, except for the ones with pets.
7. I love Sid the Science Kid! He's such a role model. He learns everything about science around the world around him. My favorite Sid the Science Kid episode was the one where he, his dad, and Gerald go camping in his backyard.
6. I don't always love the Carmen Sandiego franchise. As for the game show, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, yeah, that is pure nightmare fuel for me.
5. Reading Rainbow is such a boring TV show. It has a theme song that I do not always love, plus all the boring books read by LeVar Burton and narrated by a celebrity.
4. I hate every The Magic School Bus book. And I don't always love every episode of The Magic School Bus. The only The Magic School Bus episode that I always love is the one where the kids learn all about butterfly camouflage.
3. I don't always love every episode of Bill Nye the Science Guy. This show drives me crazy. The only Bill Nye the Science Guy episode that I always love is the one where it teaches kids all about chemical reactions.
2. Mister Roger's Neighborhood is garbage. This PBS show, like Reading Rainbow, is very boring.
1. I love Sesame Street! It is fun to watch. My favorite Sesame Street character is Abby Cadabby. She has a wand. Her fur is pinkish purple, her hair is purple, and she has fairy wings.

I grew up with Sesame Street!!! I love it so much!!!!

@sarahplatt5124

I'm glad that Blue's Clues was at least an honorable mention. It was somehow very educating than what some people out there think. It actually taught important lessons about handling feelings, emotions, and imagination. It even taught some aspects of science. Also, that show was inspired by Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. Even Mr. Rogers himself loved the show. Furthermore, Mr. Rogers mentored one of the Co-Creators of Blue's Clues.
