The Va just gave me a lone in at this age not too old but upper 50 . I do not think I want to buy a house at this age . I am planing to take my dog and will move to Thailand this summer . I guess I just go back to USA when I have VA appointment . I do not want to work anymore . I need healing , peace and relaxing. I have my VA disability’s. I think I should be fine but my money will go to saving many street dogs . That is the reason I hate about Thailand . My heart just feel so sad and I am not sure I will be real relax and happy . I am dual citizens .

I want to move to Thailand to start a new life like I want to attend school there and to attend film industries over there I want to become screenwriter director and producer I've seen a lot of great series in Thailand and let me tell you they are so romantic and not just in Thailand in Japan Korea as well I have three countries I want to stay but I go with Thailand first and then the rest later if this is what my dream home should be then I want to live here I have nowhere else to go and nowhere else to be I have no job no life I'm not even close to my family we're always fighting all the time over money this and that you know but what time there I will make a lot of great films and movies all over Asia Thailand goes first and then the rest later I'm going to do my very best I want to call it my future home

Not sure... in us cost of lunch is around 20 dollars... dont mind spending extra 1 2 dollars to get another item.

More and more I hear those stories when older guys come to Thailand in search of wife. After finding one, that guy ends up totally broke with his wife taking everything.

I feel like none of this advice applied to me. I live in NY, I'm frugal with money, the people I associate with and I don't have any dependents or close relatives. The scenarios and people described sounds like individuals who don't have any common sense or self control. I'll take that as a good sign that I'm making the right decision to go with this move

2:17 While that first point is not actually related to Thailand it definitely is very important when it comes to migrating and not just when it comes to migrating to another country. Over here in Germany we have masses of folks who move from big cities to the country and they are often completely shocked by how life is there. Because living in a village with a 100 to 500 citizens is usually not the quite live that many expect. I remember having seen a sign in some small village where someone wrote: "If you don't want to hear or see animals mating, don't move here. They do so quite often. So get along or back off. This is the country not a resort."

Thailand is a great place to visit and live. I have been here over 10 years. People are so lovely. No aggression here. Please don't bring your problems to Thailand.

I'm planning on visiting Thailand in Novemer this year, as a tourist. 3 weeks at the start of November. Didn't realize the rain season for Koh Samui and Koh Phangan. Should I scrap them and do Koh Lanta and Phi Phi instead or keep my itinerary instead? Was hoping to participate in the Half Moon festival on KP initially. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
