The Rolling Stones - On with the Show (Official Lyric Video)
Video Overview & Insights
"On With The Show” By The Rolling Stones
Brian Jones warned them not to do this album. Brian was very against the idea of a psychedelic Stones LP and didn't like the results. I hear quite a few things on the album that I'm not sure who's playing- like the lead on The Lantern. His reputation as a multi-instrumentalist leads me to think he'd have been quite valuable during the production.
Producers: Bill Wyman, Brian Jones, Charlie Watts, Keith Richards, and Mick Jagger
Composers: Mick Jagger and Keith Richards
Anyone else get the idea that the Rolling Stones made this album to parody the Sgt. Pepper album?
Lyricists: Mick Jagger and Keith Richards
Associated Performers: Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman, and Nicky Hopkins

Lyrics:
Good evening one and all we’re all so glad to see you here.
You missed listing credits to The Beatles and Terry Gilliam.
We’ll play your fav’rite songs while you all soak up the atmosphere
I’ll start with Over Man River then maybe Stormy Weather too.
Brilliant!
I’m sure you know just what to do.
On with the show, good health to you.
Just Brilliant.
Please pour another glass, it’s time to watch the cabaret
Your wife will never know that you’re not really working late.
not the best song to finish the album
Your hostess here is Wendy you’ll find her very friendly too.
And we don’t care just what you do.
こりやあ.??ジヨン.負けるか.??
On with the show good health to you.
Petina starts her show at two o’clock.
I hope Charlie was alive to witness this
Oh, if by chance you find that you can’t make it anymore,
We’ll put you in a cab and get you safely to the door.
WHEN PETINA,MICK ? ,Mexican Girls TATLELOLCO, 🇬🇧🇺🇸 co
Oh we’ve got all the answers and we’ve got lovely dancers too.
There’s nothing else you have to do.
On with the show good health to you.
You’re all such lovely people dancing eating ‘round the floor.
But if you have to fight, please take your trouble out the door.
For now I say with sorrow until this time tomorrow.
"I hope you, uh, didn't record any of this?"
"Nah, I didn't record any of this!" 😄
We’ll bid you all a fond adieu.
On with the show good health to you.

Brian Jones playing the paraguayan arp.❤

@wilmabaumann4499I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!! Makes me feel like in a cozy British cabaret with great vibes, settling in for a great evening.
The Stones are about ten years +/- older than me.
At this late life stage they feel like older brothers blazing the way ahead, reassuring me that this mystery all ends up okay.
Weird song, but not even close to being the weirdest song on the album. Man, those guys must have been on some serious sh*t when they wrote and recorded this.
@carltonreese4854I love this song 🎵 ❤️, it sounds really trippy. It reminds me of my days when I would trip, and listen to music 🎶 🎵 like this. It's really taking me back to my teenage years.
@rebeccawagner4167The Stones had such a superior supporting cast. Nicky Hopkins is bad ass!
@matthewyost7930Los de paraguay en el fondo suena el pajaro campana ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

@aryazs__RPThe "reminds me of" clique really shoot their wad here — again.
@Aristipp-ng5fuThe main guitar riff reminds me a lot of Dance On by the Shadows.
@bensymons1188those were the days, blessed to have been born in such a musically rich time. transistor radio in hand.
@pamelashirley2700At least this was unexpected and different compared to the predictable music they present now
@RichardThomas-o2kI always loved that song... Oh by the way I have this album with the silly plastic 3d thing on the cover.
@thornil2231PFANTASTIC ALBUM.....GREAT

Se escucha de fondo el pájaro campana de Paraguay
@DIEFERPULMakes a change from Jagger's Mississippi accent
@jeannemariagriffin5820Keith really is the greatest at coming up with a guitar lick at the start of a song in order to catch the listener’s attention.
@ArmandoMPRHappy Birthday, Mr. Jagger
