The Property Was Completely Out of Control

Video Overview & Insights

JUNK HOUSE - EPISODE 2: Helen and I purchased the best, worst house we could afford. This is the first week of work on the property spread over two months. The aim of this episode, and this chunk of time, was to stay clear of the house and concentrate on the property itself- the old sheds, clearing the overgrown garden and removing the fireplaces in order to get ready for the stumper (the man who’ll replace the foundations of the house). I sweated a lot in the late summer heat, lit a bunch of fires, didn’t spend enough time eating lunch, and absolutely loved hanging out with my wife, which is shockingly rare these days. What this first week did was make us realise how much there is still to come, although this was kinda the point.

G'day everyone! I'm showing films around Australia & New Zealand... Unreleased vidoes, old mate a little unhinged, and a room full of legends. Love to see you there: https://beaumiles.com/screenings/

Im not surprised you love Helen for doing the work, it's awesome that she shares your passion and drive, that you're together in this adventure. I think that's a super flex for you as a couple and I really love that for you! <3

As a wife and mum to 3 young adults, who is in the throws of burnout I feel your comment so much.
If it wasn’t for my family I’d just sell everything and move away. I’d buy the best van I could afford on my meger money and I’d get in and go.
But. Have to stay and care for everyone while somehow manage to care for myself.

You need a "Wilson" Out there in the bush. Like Tom Hanks in Cast Away. 😁

I can feel this is gonna be an epic series! Get the asbestos away asap by professionals; don't disturb it. Remember that string trimmers (non-pro ones) normally shouldn't be operated for long durations of time due to vibrations. How did you get the drone down in the end?

You bought the cheapest house you could afford? Does that mean the most expensive house you could afford was too expensive? Or that you couldn't afford it? I'm confused.

noooooooo beau no music pleaaaase, I enjoy just the silence of nature, I dont need inspirational garbage copyright free, music under everything , I beg of you<3 its not that its bad music, but I have a hearing problem, called Synesthesia. think of colour blindness when you cant differentiate colours. but its hypersensitive hearing, too many different sounds, begin to mash (like an amplifier folding back) when you play music, no matter the volume over your speaking, it makes it so everything sounds the same. it sounds a little like how the adults sound in peanuts cartoons, like that "WOMPAWOMP WOMP", like how with a colourblindness test, I cant see the number in the middle, it all looks the same.
ill end on a funny note, the cooing scrub pigeons make, gives me vertigo, and has the effect of hearing the brown note (a subsonic sound so low, one instantly shits ones breaches) terribly inconvenient, as I live in the hills district of Sydney on a few acres of bushland, and its practically the scrub pigeon"s MECCA. ( yes ive learned how to avoid it, but, to be unprepared, is to be humiliated) love you mate. love your content, always have, safe the bells and whistles for the house, you dont need to add that noise, to inspire us, we see you unfiltered, noise pollution is a thing too, and why pollute the beautiful sounds of nature, and your lovely voices are more than enough. keep inspiring mate <3

Hey Beau. Thankyou. No other statement quite sums up how what you do has an effect on my life. I don’t have a bad life in fact I love my life, what the Thankyou is for is showing me that there is always more fun to be had with how I live my life. Life is about connections with the ones we love.

Yes, you can consume blackberry roots, but they are not typically eaten whole as food. Instead, because they are super astringent, they are generally used to brew medicinal teas or decoctions.

dragging sucks, but it's supposed to be good for your knee health, on account of it forcing a knees over toes movement when you walk backwards with resistance.
