Oh wow, I loved this! I was there the day the park opened for the first time, and made frequent visits till I moved away in 1974. Fantastic that it's still going stronger than ever and what a magical place it's become.

@davestampanoniThe delay was worth it! For the project at large and also the video - it is fascinating comparing old pictures and footage from the monorail days and back when the Safari Park had Asian elephants to today, and the way the Safari Park has been able to tell this story of human/wildlife conflict and coexistence while also highlighting the individual elephants' personalities is nothing short of spectacular! The ambassador animal exhibit I think should stick to African species as it is a bit jarring seeing a capybara or a red-tailed boa or a tamandua in an East African setting, but if my biggest criticism from a first impression is a nitpick, that says a lot about the overall project quality.
On a side note, how did you feel about the pricing of the food in Mkutano House compared to the portion size?
This. Is. PHENOMENAL. Coverage! Thank you so much for your true authenticity of the project, the details, everything! Even down to the "continent of Africa" statement, it just feels so refreshing to know you know Africa is a continent! Jokes aside, I can't wait to visit myself, SDZSP is just the queen's diamond of conservation efforts for wildlife, and I am always so happy to be able to share in those efforts.
