0:00 - Intro
Amazing list. Thank you.
1:03 - Breakdown
1:51 - Chapter 1
In my opinion terrifier is sloppy with how much unnecessary gore there is. My friend got me to watch the third one with him and I couldnât make it to ten minutes without saying âholy this is too muchâ I still wonât ever finish the movies because of how goreslop the whole thing is. I understand itâs extremely popular and found âgeniusâ but itâs certainly not my or a lot of peopleâs cup of tea.
5:45 - Chapter 2
9:12 - Chapter 3
What I always found unnerving about Titicut Follies is that the awful things the guards are openly doing are on camera. Almost like they're showing off.
Imagine what they feel comfortable doing when no one is watching.
More User Perspectives
11:18 the worst part of this doc is that these men probably lived and died here in their final days, no justice, no one to hold accountable. Itâs so completely heartbreaking.
@melala95Hearing about Titicut Follies reminds me of the Fernald School, there is no documentary that I know of but it has a wikipedia page
the short version:
quaker oats and MIT fed radiation to disabled children (yes really)
Where can I watch âWormsâ?
@VincentHeitz-i8cDamn the advertising overlords won't even let you say *stripped*?! I get it, gotta do what you gotta do, but jeezus thats crazy.
@awildsylveon9896I tend to add the movies you talk about to a watch list first and then later watch your videos talking about them. I watched Murder Death Koreatown and found it absolutely fascinating from beginning to end and one of the better found footage horror films I have seen in recent time. Coming back to your video now and hearing that the murder at the center of the films narrative was real... leaves me feeling unsure how to feel about it now.
@DarkInugami92Scariest movie I ever saw made me have nightmares about it for 2 months i bought a low budget splatter film on dvd in a less safe area in Tokyo. I forgot the name but it was one name like Lia or something I want to watch it again does someone maybe know something
@BatraAmsCuriosity got the better of me and I just went and watched Murder Death Koreatown... I have to be honest, I'm a tad dissapointed. The people on screen and extras were fine, but the cameraman is very poor as an actor, to the point some scenes felt more comedic than scary. That all being said... the garage scene? Ok, yeah, that definitely made me shudder! And the homeless guy? I think he actually was the star of the movie imo. Almost certainly an actor and the best character in the movie
@franciscohcoronado4947As a disabled person who has family members have to go to inpatient and being afraid of what might happen to them, documentaries like Titicut Follies are NEEDED. It is so hard to find disability history because people want to ignore it. Almost no one knows about the Ugly laws that weren't widely gotten rid of in the 1970s. And whenever I tell people, they are horrified. People need to know.
@zacharyzeigler8518Not a fan of gross-out, not a fan of jump scares, or even horror generally.
But I have watched more than my share of disturbing films. Todd Solondz is a favourite, Lars von Trier (particularly Breaking the Waves), Threads, and the one I recommend most often: Spoorloos. Itâs a Dutch film from 1988 and itâs best to walk in blind.
Some of the people Iâve recommended it to took a while to forgive me but others really appreciated it. Maybe give it a whirl
Edited for fat thumb year fix
@NightmareMovies, you're probably aware, and maybe even mentioned it, but there's a 2025 documentary on To Catch A Predator called Predators, directed by David Osit. It details the rise and fall of Chris Hansen and his gotcha-style traps for pedophiles. Included in this is the ethical and moral implications, as well the trail of destruction that it can leave in it's wake... not all of it being just. It feels like a more tame of the documentary that you are discussing, but for a big as Hansen got due to several high-profile arrests, there was a lot left to be judged by the public eye. It's out there if you have not see it.
@staggerlee3WHERE DID YOU WATCH WORMS
@FreAkyMcFreAkster00terrified couldâve played in theaters twenty years ago lmao
@Me-wx1mtI watch The night of The Groke in the Moomins and that gave me chills and straight up made me terrified of sleeping for over a year because everytime I slept i drempt of the Creator in the episode chasing me and it horrified me
@NeonRhythmOfficialgood video except for the croaky voice, I honestly hope you were sick while recording this cause if you did it for dramatic eerie effect then it do not work, if i was infront of you irl id tell you to stop and you kept going I punch you in the throat til your voice changed, seriously I wanna like this vid but the voice is so annoying, especially just coming from the Shirka and The Bay video you did that were perfect
@spinaghettiYou want Dark Movies/Documentaries, here some : Silvano Agosti's "D'amore si vive", Guiseppe Ferrara's "FacC.I.A. di spia" (the last shot is haunting), Alberto Cavallone's "N... come negrieri", all mondo movies of the brothers Castiglioni and some Olivier Smolders films ("La légende dorée"/"La part d'ombre"/"Mort à Vignole").
@CavallOveIf you talk to Russ and Oksana of Overlook Theater and Footage Foreplay they can tell you a lot more about Murder Death Koreatown. They used to know the director, and showed the movie at their festival.
@HarryNordlingeroh my days is Miishta Ichi the killer??
@warboatsIts not by SamHel. The director is Akiko Janos. SamHel is just a distributor
@SkillSpencerIt's certainly not the DARKEST movie (if you can call it that) but have you ever heard of "The Scooby Doo Project"? It was a series of short commercials that Cartoon Network aired around the time "The Blair Witch Project" came out, and there's at least a few videos out there that have all the shorts stitched together to make at least an hour/hour and a half of content. It's honestly pretty well shot (using real life footage for the setting but classic animation for the characters) and very, VERY cheesy, through in references from both the movie and the Scooby show in general- the reason I even bring this up, is that it STARTS with the police saying the gang is missing and are actively searching for them, and the ending (there's technically two, one where Shaggy is standing in the corner (funniest shit I've ever seen) and I believe Velma who is holding the camera gets attacked) and the ENDING ending, is the monster gets unmasked, only to reveal a REAL monster attacking them, and then they cut back to the police report, saying the gang is STILL missing, heavily implying the Scooby gang DIED. It's not that dark, not by a long shot, but it's pretty funny
@jarvisstark3097Has YouTube become so pansy that you have to obscure the most mundane of words that allude to violent acts? Sad
@devmag52Sam hel is my brother in law!
@pomegrannetsIâd still date her even knowing she ate worms, sheâs a fine woman
@jameseff7:19 when you brought up "Worms" i thought you were talking about the adult swim skit
@foxshorts5:17
While I can't name a movie off the top of my head that has done it, there's at least one game that has done it. The creator of YIIK got into a lot of controversy for using the death of Elisa Lam as a plot point in the game, claiming that it was to "raise awareness" of the case.

As a Filipino, I can always just remember the title of the film whenever things get too unnerving.
Going for that dislike button. Found footage, when done right, are my favorite kinds of horror films. I've seen much more good ones than bad.
@TheForlornEidolon777I watched Titicut Follies in the late 90's/early 00's and it is without a doubt one of the most horrifying things that has stuck with me all these years.
@SaintRukusin their defence we love watermelon
@RedSon_79:42 omg im from bridgewater MA they got a prison there and detox and itâs worse then the Taunton MA one
@Jaxontimothy5:43 I mean you want original movies done again so this is as original youâll get a real murder
@JaxontimothySubscribed! And... late to the party, as always. I'm about to take in Titicut Follies, but I can only find Worms as a Blu-ray on Sam Hel's website. I'm desperate to watch it since I adore some good gross-out! On a lighter note, I would highly recommend Zombie Ass: Toilet of the Dead! It's a horror comedy, but definitely a fun watch for those of us who love immature gross-out content. đ
@0451Free_ValNow this isn't a horror movie but I feel that people don't talk about how disturbing Cuties is. I never watched it and only heard of it's infamy from TikTok and reviews and the more I heard about it the more my hatred grew for the movie, The movies gone and is probably lost media but the name Maïmouna Doucouré should still be remembered so we know what if we left shady disgraces like her make movies where she makes literal kids do suggestive dances then the movie industry will DIE.
@Korophite5:42 squirting????
@jenndamelioBrazilian Holocaust is a 2016 1h30 documentary similar to Titica Follies, available on Netflix according to my search on this date. "Award-winning journalist Daniela Arbex examines the horrors of the ColĂŽnia psychiatric hospital, where more than 60,000 people were killed over decades."
Please, a shout out to Kelly Reis from Brazil if you ever cite this one!
3:15 - It's unlikely that professional actors would not rush to add a film to their CV, even if it's a terrible film. George Clooney got his break in Attack of the Killer Tomatoes 2 after all.
@steveouk90126If you cover foreign language movies, or simply wanna enjoy watching a good movie, you should try "Brahmayugam", its a malayalam movie, malayalam being one of the languages in india. There are a ton of good movies on Malayalam film industry.
@work_in_progress21Definitely check out the Geraldo Rivera documentary on Willowbrook.
@danielemoore1953If you listen closely, you can hear his voice turn somewhat robotic, which is kinda cool đ€
@TottaTemI canât wait to see the day you blow up dude. Youâre a very talented YouTuber, and I can appreciate the amount of work you put into your videos. Fantastic channel brother. đŻ
@alexallen126bro i love your videos, the editing, tone, its amazing, do you own a latterboxd profile? If you don't, I highly recommend opening one.
@encarnacionfilmsThe vocal fry is too much dog
@moster876543215:09 I didn't like the idea of a movie being made about the death of Emmett Till. It felt gross and unethical.
Ultimately, I found the subject matter to Sacred... and didn't watch the movie.
I would feel the same way about George stinney Jr.
These children are deeply a part of my culture. For Black people, they are Nikola and Bart. Their story should always be told in the same real life agony and brutality Dante faced.
Just like this movie I don't agree with the sensationalism
Oh god, I donât sure if this is me being Korean or Iâve watched obscure stuff too much. Cause I instantly knew that youâre about to talking about Murder Death Korea town, not by thumbnail but by the frame you showed in the video đ
@dotaparkYou and Spooky Rice should do a live stream together.
@davidsheriff9274Love Death Robots? No. Murder Death Koreatown.
@MarcelineBradythe forced vocal fry hurts
