I am Korean. In the past, many people wanted reunification between North and South Korea, but these days the opposite is true. Most people no longer want reunification. Instead, they prefer to maintain the current situation and simply avoid war.

We do not feel hostility toward the people of North Korea. In fact, we feel sympathy for them. The people we hold negative feelings toward are the members of the Kim regime that rules North Korea.

I think it is a very unusual case compared to other conflict regions around the world.

These days, if you call North Korea our main enemy, people label you as far-right.

On top of that, they're trying to kick the US military out of South Korea.

To all the veterans worldwide who defended us from North Korea and the Chinese Communist Party: I feel deeply ashamed.

Please let me ask for your forgiveness on their behalf.

I'm from South Korea. I know the Korean War is often called the โ€œForgotten War,โ€ but for me, it is an unforgettable part of history. Without the support of the UN and the sacrifices of those who fought for South Korea, my country would not have been able to achieve the economic and cultural progress it enjoys today. Thank you for your service and for defending freedom against dictatorship and communism.

MacArthur was told t by Truman not to advance to the river. He was told to stop short and let only the South Koreans to finish it to the border so Chain wouldnโ€™t feel threatened by American. But he push all the way and ignored Truman. Which caused the Chinese to attack. Then he was embarrassed and wanted to drop the bomb on china which would have caused NATO and the rest of the would to look at America like the Germans so they get rid of him. Thurman should have got rid of him long before he was a complete joke and all he wanted was to win his way to be president.

In this video, it explains the Korean War, which happened between 1950 and 1953 between North Korea and South Korea. The war began when North Korea invaded South Korea, and soon countries like the United States and China became involved. I learned that the conflict was strongly connected to the Cold War because communist and capitalist countries supported opposite sides. The video also explains important events such as the Battle of Inchon, Chinese intervention, and the creation of the demilitarized zone between the two Koreas. In my opinion, this video is very informative because it clearly explains a complicated war and its lasting effects
