This is why when Big Brother Canada was cancelled during the COVID shutdown seemed like a weird deal since nobody knew about the behind the scenes but when you consider just how many bodies are needed to make it run despite the house only having 12, up to 30, contestants. Like, this is just for the getting the episode out, you still have to consider meals, scene setup, emergency personnel, and a bunch of other niche roles you wouldn't think goes into a production setup for shows like this.

Anyone who thinks this can just happen on crunch time and get done with enough people I’m a film major I don’t deny it happens I just nearly spat out my drink hearing what they do a day to get it done because holy crap it takes a lot to do I’ve worked on films before oh my gosh if you told me this was possible before watching I would have been surly they have a least one full day of editing BUT NOPE!

As others have pointed Big Brother US is actually produced a lot like Love Island except for that one huge difference the 24/7 live feeds. It's wild because you can actually hear the Big Brother producers talking to the houseguests through the speakers. You'll hear things like, "Stop singing," or "Please report to the Diary Room," right there on the live stream. And that's honestly the best part. The feeds give you a totally unfiltered and more honest look at the real dynamics of the house. You get to see the genuine friendships, the real arguments, and all the downtime that never makes it to air. It's a completely different story compared to the highly edited episodes that only air three times a week.

Check when the sun is highest, look at one clock. Calculate the difference in time to noon. Tada: You always now know what time it is.

Love Island is dreadful television. Not steamy enough for actually exciting TV, not interesting enough to watch for the story, and not cringeworthy enough for so bad its good viewing. Its so bland, yet inexplicably popular for UK viewers. Seems made for influencers or sponsors and not for actual people.
