The Hand That Rocks the Cradle | Official Trailer | Hulu
Video Overview & Insights
Good help is hard to find.
This movie is what made Maika Monroe one of my favorite film scream queens.
The Hand That Rocks the Cradle is streaming October 22 on Hulu and with #HuluOnDisneyPlus.

Why do they have to make everything nowadays a million times darker than it needs to be? The original is a normal level of dark. Everything now seems to be designed to push people into unnecessary levels of stress and anger. We get it, you're good at filmmaking- you know how to trip certain emotions. But is this good for people?

ABOUT HULU
Your favorite shows, movies, Live TV and originals so good your group chat won't stop talking about them. Couch? Bus? Under the covers at midnight? We don't judge, we just stream.
I watched this last night as a hardcore fan of the original and I was surprised at how much I liked it! The core story is similar but they changed it enough to keep me invested and surprise me, the acting was great, the tension was delicious! Well done!

Wow everyone is mad about this being remade, but I didn't know this was a remake. I never would have known this movie or the original exist.
Sometimes remakes are fine even if they're not for you.

Stop ruining the originals
@Greg-ym9seThe husband is worthless 😂
@kalihi8084why a remake? the first Movie was perfect.. no need for remakes...
@KarieAmel--1Where is the black guy?
@BObBhaySabFaking an asthma attack to get the upper hand in a fight. How will they recreate that scene.
Shout out to Solomon
Everybody has a housemaid fantasy these days🤔
@BlackListedMarineBLMNot only should Rebecca DeMornay have received an Oscar for her phenomenal performance as the maniacally vengeful Paytan Flanders in the original, but her performance solidified the original as a classic that can never be replaced. To try is foolish.
@Circa_1989This was bad BADDDDDD and the Father a JOKE
@OnTheGoWithNgongoShe's not married to a white guy I'm sure. Go woke go broke
@theheadphonea-hole4133Is Solomon in this version??
@-stephanie420Maika frickin Monroe, the longlegs & villains star. remarkable indie actress
@Syar12ok but where's Solomon?
@efffsanother nanny movie yaay
@Maikel1500The mentally disabled black man was a huge part of the movie why is he not in it? He’s the hero. He made the movie.
@BaronVonBielskiI’m literally watching this right now.
@KEVIN_BLQ.Worst movie of the year
@dianavargas5581This is nothing like Hand that Rocks the Cradle... in that one she is psyco and tries to sleep with the husband.
This one..the nanny is not crazy.
Maika is my GOAT.
@boihowiehusband be like "Im sorry I should have listened to you" Yep, the writer was so successful in making the partner - dumb. :D
@jccastillo4828trash
@clarasoares6807No wonder hollyweird is failing with this type of garbage.
@allnamesaretakenI wasn't expecting THTRTC '25 to live up to or be better than original, but there was ONE issue that prevented me from liking it.
That (SPOILER) killed a (SPOILER) and gets to live like nothing happened. (SPOILER) killed a (SPOILER) and there was no repercussions. How could (SPOILER) live with that?
If you've seen the movie, I think you know what I'm talking about. Monroe and Winstead were great, but hearing (SPOILER) in that fire...that broke me and I couldn't let that go.
this is a really good movie, caught my attention from start to finish!
@LiangHuBBBIt's a shame to ruined such a good movie as the first one , with woke...🤢🤢🤢, especially to put a child to say I want to kiss an another girl
@Onokyo32Why do they continue to make husbands morons in these movies?
Who brings fireworks INDOORS???!!!
So many unrealistic scenes in one movie makes it unbearable.
Can we make some movies that DON'T insult or intelligence.
hallmark channel remake. pass.
@Detboi1The wouldnt watch this second one seen one part made me sick shut it off woke garbage
@murielBrittainDirigida por la mexicana Michelle garza cervera ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
@elizacortes8093This movie was ok, it was decent, there were a couple dumb woke lines thrown in, like her saying "Who likes America" which is dumb. The last scene would have been way better if they could have ending showing a new nannie and the new nannie was the original one from the first movie with scars from where she was assumed dead with the wife saying "I think this ones going to work out" or something like that. The ending is a bit dumb with the kid telling the same story.
@MamalookabooboodayySo this is a remake of the same movie title from 1992, which I still prefer over this one
@RW_CreativeMediaNo one can beat Rebecca De Mornay's characterization
@user-eb4uu8my6jque filme magnifico.
@TavernadoPlayAnother classic destroyed.
@fabiocampello2205This movie is nothing in comparison to the original movie which starred Rebecca De Morney, her acting was on a different level altogether and I've watched that movie multiple times, one of my all time favourites it was an all time classic The best movies were made in the 80s and 90s and no one can beat that.
@zaraparveen9660It's not ever going to be another hand that rocks the cradle like the original classic
@queenbarnes86The Original was perfect, but this remake was terrible. Kinda woke too 👎🏼
@CyberFixionThey should've made the mother more likable. She was insufferable. I was rooting for the villain. 😂 The original movie was far better n tbh, I'm not even sure WHY they chose to name it the same. It's def not a remake n I'm not even sure I'd consider it a reboot. It's a completely different story. Hulu original horrors are usually always trash.
@LeeLeeCalderónRNOhhh..based in the comments thi is a remake. I like this movie..gotta watch the og.
@PritongKamotei recommend 100%
@raj-ramsamy10 year old and a girl.
Hollywood truly is pe....do.......philes
If they’re going to remake a movie, why can’t they just stick to the original story? I’m not a fan of remakes—I prefer the 1992 version, and even then, I’m not sure if that one was a remake itself.
@onfire4christ127Nothing beats the original
@rashadhaughton22I swear no one have creativity anymore.
Im working on a movie but it better than this.
The OG IS TIMELESS
