Man I wish I was old enough to remember the 90’s. I started getting into basketball in the 2000’s. My grandfather would take me, my cousin, and my brother to the game in the early 2000’s

I was born in 81! I was blessed to witness those Celtics and Lakers teams in the 80s and then the best decade ever, the 90s. Watching those Bulls teams!!! You just had to be there.

I was born in 1983 and was s HUGE nBa fan, watched Jordan get every single chip, Hakeem back to back, rookie Shaq, Penny....man the memories. Can't tell you the last time I watched a modern NBA game😔

Charles might not be a nba champ but he is an olympic champ which is a world champ. Not all Nba champs can say that (especially those who were just passengers)

Very superstar driven decade but as far as quality of teams very weak decade, if you took 90-91 Bulls back to 80-81 and sent them through that decade there is good chance they win zero titles in that decade

I think the 2000s was a more complete peak diverse decade. Offensive talent was amazing but defense and pace and physicality kept the scores under 98 pts

Phil dominated the East AND West. Best coach in history. And has two on the last knick team to ever win it❤❤

If you wasn't born in the 70s you know nothing about this. Rap and Hip-Hop is the same. This generation knows nothing and try to argue off of e pill and liquor filled emotions.

90's nba finals was a big thing here in ICELAND... yes you heard me. Staying up late and watching MJ murder teams. Amazing tv and amazing time. I hate modern NBA snoozefest.

46:22 I was just wondering if the lockout seasons made those championships look less valuable to people at that time as the bubble championship looks to some people now…or do people just hate LeBron. I’m 25 for context, so I never really had a clear perspective on the shortened seasons.

This is not the greatest era in nba history.... You gotta be kidding me.... There was one great team (Bulls) and one good team( Rockets)...2 champions that didn't play each other... The rest were all frauds .. The Suns made one finals, the Lakers with just Magic were an ordinary lucky team to get to the finals.... The Knicks challenged the Bulls but didn't win when MJ retired temporarily....
The Sonics were a one season wonder, the Jazz and Pacers had their chance in 99 and 00 and choked.... How is this a great era.... When the competition was imbalanced... No real challengers for the Bulls .. They barely got to 1 or 2 game 7s ...
Look at the 80s with multiple champions killing each other- Celtics, Lakers, Pistons, Sixers... All champions at the others expense.
2010s had multiple dynasties: Lakers, Spurs, Heat, Warriors... Beating each other ..
80s, 10s were much superior eras compared to the 90s. It's arguable that 00s were more competitive with the lakers, Spurs, Pistons and Celtics... Different champions...

@Murali_bala13

I was born in 81 mjs my favorite player as a bulls fan but that's a lie.
This team could destroy the 90s the 61 Celtics. Now I'll make an all-star team and try to use only 60s players. That would destroy the nineties and remember in 90s all these players have easier rules and better shoes and more freedom dribbling with less strict refs
PG Oscar Robertson
SG Bill Sharman The most underrated SG ever.
Sf Elgin Baylor
Pf Nate Thurmond with experience
C Wilt Chamberlain

@DustinCobb-r6u

The 80s were the greatest era by far..the 90s enjoyed the commercialisation that the 80s generated and thats all..now these are my basic two argumentsA: Superteams and rivalries..first part of the 80s were the crazy Sixers Celtics,Lakers Sixers rivalries with Bucks a 4th multi all star contender,the mid eighties saw the Celtics Lakers rivalries and Superteams and at the down of the decade there were the Pistons against everyone with the Bulls dynasty brewing..The 90s cant compete with that regardless how much bias in favor of Chicago Bulls the public has PERIOD..then B: the Superstars and that is not even close..apart the Supesuper stars that have their name in the top marquee NBA all time sign let me remind you of some unsung heroes /superstars like Bernard KIng,Adrian Dantley,Alex English,Ronaldo Blackman,Sidney Moncrief and so many others..last and more important the biggest 90s superstars were playing in the 80s for 6 years + including MJ wo had his best individual record setting seasons in the 80s,Barkley,Wilkins,Hakeem,Ewing,Drexler,Stockton,Malone etc etc..the 90s were great indeed but the 80s were the 90s on steroids!

@andreaspapadakis2602

That Jordan 54 against the Nicks is the only time in NBA history a player has scored 50+ against the number 1 defensive team.
