I been on fence for 5yrs straight and finally picked my path. I selected SWE due to being able to use the skills outside of the job and for my own projects. As a entrepreneur learning CyberSec is almost a waste of time lol

@ishwaryanarayan1010Bro is explaining difference between a data engineer and a cyber security analyst
@Dr_MindI love how u included actual footage 😁
@pradajay7i'm currently a software engineer and i want to switch to cyber security while hopefully still getting to use my programming skills. i'm also sick and tired of swe interviews.
@frogeryOk but which do you enjoy doing more day to day?
@zojirushi1Cyber security analyst interview process is more conventional and less technical. Where you sell yourself to the interviewer. You have to have good general understanding of the current cves, common vulnerabilities and exposures, and your SIEM knowledge, and other networking and infrastructure knowledge and experiences. Cybersecurity jobs: ICT security.
@zojirushi1This is a great video explains the differences
@ceoty9500I am studying BS E-commerce i am very passionate about cybersecurity and pentesting do you think is it a good idea to jump into cybersecurity?
@raeesahmed7283OMG ITS SO NICE KNOWING THAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE WONDERING THE SAMETHING
@escape8011Hello sir! I will have a bsc in Comp Sci. In a year and I don’t know what to study after that. I’m finding it difficult to choose between cyber security and SWE what’s your opinion?
@BrightVincent-f1rHey Jono, I really want to do Software Development so I bought a course "boot camp" and I'm currently learning how to code. However I am a Veteran and I get to go to college for free so I thought it would be cool to go ahead and get my degree in either Computer Science or Cyber Security. But all I've been hearing is that a Computer Science degree doesn't make or break whether you get a job (only knowing what your doing/experience does) so I thought maybe it would be better to get a Cyber Security Degree instead and work in Sofwtware Development with my coding boot camp experience. The reason I was considering Cyber Security degree over Computer Science degree is because I'm not naturally great at math (not to say I can't develop the skill) but I don't really like it (like most people lol). But I would like to have the most opportunities available to me when I graduate while also being realistic. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance!
@imanilwilliamsthanks for making the decision even harder. i really wanna go for cyber security but the lack of jobs has me questioning. seems like it’s so much easier to get a job for software developers
@N8BurnVery much appreciate the video brother. Finally a good in-depth and structured break down of each field. I've gotten into the SWE field without a degree but decided to go back to school and finish my CS degree. Been trying to decide if I want my concentration to be SWE or a change to CyberS. This was very helpful, thank you again bro
@arynbwrCreating a dashboard seems like a lot of fun. A good combination of Design and Developer work.
@light-waterThank you and great video! I just found your channel. What do you think about a Software Engineering degree?? Idk if I should just go CS or SE.
@Chocmoondo-7software engineering is much fun than searching the whole day for something that u might or might not find.
@justcurious1940Helpful video thank ya
@Oooooooooh67cool story bro
@batmanasdasdVery cool video, good job bro! I've been debating between these two job roles and this video has been a massive help to understand the differences & similarities.
