The Endless Riddle of JonBenét Ramsey
Video Overview & Insights
The killing of JonBenét Ramsey remains one of the most infamous unsolved crimes of the past century. This video unpacks some of the most popular theories of who the culprit was. Namely: The Parents (RDI - Ramseys Did It), The Brother (BDI - Burke Did It), or an Intruder (IDI - Intruder Did It)

Edit - 1:18:59 BDI and RDI helped cover it up.

Why were they upset that they were looked at? That is normal protocol.
For further reading there are a virtually endless amount of resources on the case, but this video was mainly informed by the following books:
JonBenet: Inside the Ramsey Murder Investigation by Steve Thomas (RDI - Patsy) - https://www.amazon.com/JonBenet-Inside-Ramsey-Murder-Investigation/dp/1250054796
The note is so obviously written by someone who has never experienced any significant criminal situation.
Foreign Faction by James Kolar (BDI) - https://www.amazon.com/Foreign-Faction-Really-Kidnapped-JonBenet/dp/098476321X
We Have Your Daughter by Paula Woodward (IDI) - https://www.amazon.com/We-Have-Your-Daughter-Unsolved/dp/1632260778
Crazy update to the case now that we know epstein was directly involved in some capacity
Injustice: Why JonBenet Ramsey Was Murdered By A Sadistic Psychopath - Not Her Parents by Robert A. Whitson (IDI) - https://www.amazon.com/Injustice-JonBenet-Murdered-Sadistic-Psychopath/dp/1475074824

1:07:32 the secret voice of burke is silly on so many levels like for one, the call just happened to record them saying relevant things or zingers for a person to find? But also it's just audio pareidolia, you listen to white noise and static you can hear anything you want
But yeah I appreciate you raising that point as well as just being thorough. In addition to the terrible handling of the crime scene and evidence, there just isn't enough info to make a conclusion, whether it's him or not, or the folks

Arent both parents dead now? I think both have passed away now

I think Patsy did it and John covered for her. The detectives theory makes the most sense given the state of the home upon arrival. Patsy wearing the same clothes and still having her hair and makeup done is strong evidence, paired with the fact that John didn’t see his daughters body until his second search of the basement, which was supervised. The 911 call despite the note can be overlooked because, if Patsy did kill her daughter and wrote the note, then she knew that calling the police didn’t actually come with the risk of her daughter being harmed

The fact that neither of the Ramseys said anything or had any reaction when the phone call expected by the kidnapper, between 8-10am never happened is outrageous. And if the intruder theory is correct, why? This mystery man somehow knew how to enter by the basement unlocked window, compose the crazy ransom note, then brutally murder a 6 yr old girl? Why?

Patsy just thought she was a LOT smarter than she actually was. Some of the things she did and said were laughably bad. If these guys just cops weren’t so damn negligent and woefully bad at their jobs, and the Ramsay’s weren’t rich, she would’ve been given life immediately. Patsy was just lucky. But Karma caught up with her. And I don’t say that lightly. My mum died from cancer and it’s a terrible way to go. But I have no doubt in my mind that she killed her daughter, or at the very least know who did and covered it up. Either way she deserves what she got.
@AnthonyGordon-o3pThe first 4 words out of Patsys mouth tells me exactly what happened…….
“We have a kidnapping”.
Did u shoot this video like they shot the William Defoe scenes in American Psycho? lmaoo (if u didn’t know they shot those scenes three times where in one he suspected Bateman as the killer, one where he didn’t suspect Bateman as the killer, and one where he is neutral then they spliced them all together to make it confusing) it’s like one moment I think u believe the first acronym then I think u believe the second, then I think u believe the third. Great video tho bro!
@MastershvkeAlternative theory is that an unidentified male was involved, but the crime was covered up by the parents because they could be implicated in some way. Perhaps they were involved in child sex trafficking. I would be curious to see who the family is connected to/their circles.
@kittycatharsis2213Patsy did it. I have never been able to shake the feeling.
@ShadyBootyI have 4 kids 4-16. If one of them goes missing in the night I'm waking them all up and asking if they saw or heard anything. If the knew where they might be or who the letter might be from. It's so weird to me that they hid Bert away all morning and then whisked him off.
@samanthadanchowInformative, sensitive and thoughtful video on the JBR mystery. Well done, thank you!
@windycitykittyThe body language at 41:32 wow.
She said "THE KILLER" and pointed directly at John. The look on his face.
Ramsey’s are 32 degree free masons.
Jon Benet would have become a modern day Erika Kirk had her “training” not gone terribly wrong that night.
I enjoyed watching. But the problem I found with this video is that it did not incorporate the essence of who JonBenét was until the very end, and when her personality was covered it was done in under 2 minutes, maybe less. There is no solving of the case of JonBenét Patricia Ramsey case without first doing a deep dive into who this little girl truly was in order to understand why anyone would feel the need to annihilate her in an act of utter obliteration.
@Cash-FableWhat's for certain is that no one outside that house committed that murder.
@sampeter1559My theory is Burke was indeed the perpetrator. I think me may have accidentally caused her death, and she wasn't discovered until she was already dead, so the parents went into cover up mode. 24:20 this to me is a woman drugged out of her mind from the knowledge that her son killed her beloved daughter.
@sampeter1559This case has a connection to epstein.
@EmilyTinninWe know what happened. It's been proven. The older brother killed her, the parents covered it up. End of story. The FBI has known for years that the #1 killer of children is their own mother, followed by a sibling at #2.
@andersd8041It sucks when you know so much about a case that it ruins a channel for you. You left out so many details, and it makes me question your research on every other case. For instance, you left out the idea that it isn't a "garrote," but rather a pulley device taught to boy scouts, and a basic knot; this is something that has been endlessly talked about. Why would an adult murder a child with some stupid little device versus their own hands? Illogical as hell. You left out that the "sexual assault" happened with the handle of a paintbrush that had been whittled ... something that the housemaid said Burke obsessively did. You left out the pee stain in the basement, which might indicate someone soiling themselves after being attacked/dying (called "voiding"). Those are a few of maybe two dozen things that you left out. The white cord was also seen in Burke's room in some pictures. Fibers from Patsy's sweater were found inside of the duct tape. There was evidence that the ransom letter had been practiced, and that several were written. An intruder would sit down and practice instead of writing it before even entering the home? Lol. The DNA has been extensively covered already, and were did you read that it was found in two places? It wasn't. Dawg, come on.
Hope your research has improved in the last 4 years.
@1:03:00 She may be one of the worst cops I've ever seen in one of these videos. Incredibly performative and silly. She makes Jon sound incredibly innocent. I have homicide detectives in my family, they would disown this person.
@Hunter-kp1veSooooo you're child is missing and you don't instantly search every inch of the house? Yeah, I smell bullshit
@BulltardwinAlso another bit about that note: how would a small foreign criminal organization know about something so specific regional american as "southern common sense" unless you already live there.
@Youbeinjudged23:23 also Patsy sounds high as a kite and all of these interviews
24:22 to me that feels like such a bizarre thing for a detective or a cop to tell the family go look for Clues like it's an episode of Scooby-Doo
Also, the way Patsy says "I loved that child", not only is she using the past tense form of load but instead of calling her by name, my daughter, My Little girl, My baby, etc, she just calls her "that child", it seems almost as a way to distance herself
8.5 inch crack in her skull, wow. The autopsy photo showing her actual skull with that massive crack is haunting...i feel like she had to have REALLY been struck to split her skull that severely.
@peachykellzIf she was taken from the bedroom by an intruder how did the brother not hear? Their beds were 3 feet apart?
@AlexaSnellingHandwritten notes are read from the bottom.
> Who signed it?
> what's their sign off? (friendly or hostile?)
> only then, go back to beginning
If Patsy wrote the note it’s not really a contradiction the note said to not contact LE but she did anyway.
As Matt says the note is almost ridiculously theatrical, and as a society we expect ransom notes to mention not contacting LE. It reads like a person’s imitation of a movie note. If Pasty knew JonBenet was beyond harm it makes perfect sense she’d call without hesitation despite the instructions. She knows there would be no repercussions and most people do contact LE in kidnapping situations, it might look more suspicious in a suspect’s mind not to.
I hate making comments on the guilt and innocence of people who were never even arrested, let alone convicted, but I’m just commenting that one thing doesn’t seem contradictory and makes perfect sense to me.
maybe this channel should revisit the case for an addendum regarding recent speculations about an epstein link
@marycanary86trying to commit murder while leaving no evidence whatsoever is pretty much impossible. but on the other hand, if you make sure that the evidence is too contaminated to be used in court and confuse the feds enough that they cant establish a proper timeline, you will be pretty difficult to prosecute for it. as much as i hate these people, i have to admit thats a pretty good strategy. and with john being the one to "find" her as well as carry her upstairs would mean that any details of how she was found would be coming from his story alone, and any dna on her could just be blamed on that moment of contact.
@fightingforsunriseThe adequate size attache, so obviously is the ramseys setting them up with an excuse in case they were seen leaving the house with jonbenet body in a suitcase thats much larger than anyone would need to take to pick up a mere 118k in cash. You can fit that in a lunch box, lol
@ErideproJaquavonWhere she was found was some sort of punishment room. It had a makeshift latch above the OUTSIDE of the door. Thats to keep someone in. And everyone who says "she wouldn't do that to her own daughter". Look at the Ruby Franke case. Patsy and or John took her punishment too far. Maybe it was cause she was wetting the bed, or maybe it was her sneaking down to get pineapple. Something happened that had the parents punish her for it. There were two chairs in that basement that were facing each other (seen in the police photographs). I saw someone comment one time that they could picture the parents sitting there discussing what to do. I think that is what happened
@bacardi4417Come on they never fix the window. Mr. Ramsey broke the window to get in and nobody noticed the cold air coming up from the basement. That’s very weird.
@toehead20007Thank you for that tribute to JonBenet at the end with photos of her looking like she normally did, not dressed up l, face made up for a pageant. I feel like she has become merely a commodity, a cover girl, when she was a sweet little human being with a long future ahead of her.
@larrydirtybird1:03.00 ive said it on other videos and ill say it again. This female officer must have gotten her training from the chief wiggum school of law enforcement. You are the cop, ur the authority, ur at the crime scene, you decide what happens, not the potential suspects.
@andrewhoyle1521The outro of this is phenomenal. Beautiful tribute
@emilyn361:06:37 i keep hearing "I'm gay" anyone else???
@TheFeed816From personal experiences (not with this case, obviously), I can say one thing: Money and preserving a reputation make people do awful, and evil, things.
@OrphoeusPlaysI think Burke had something to do with it for sure. Whenever he speaks its always me me me me. Always gave me the creeps how he's always grinning and so jovial in every interview
@JackPetrichornice video........seems like john did it imo
@DoopintIts no riddle. Bruke killed her and the parents covered it up.
@svetlanaandrasova60864 years later, and commenting this before I hear what comes next in the video, I heard "what did you do - what did you do - garbles noises/possible screaming - Ramsey-" though I'm not sure why she'd say the last name of her own son or husband.
@lukeune25:13 that's a lie, arms are fully out.Stretched, and you get smelled.Do you come up?You knew she used that you were fucking the crime scene
